Yes I am, everything works up until that point but once I get to the diagnostic menu, there are no options on the right side (where shift+f4) option is supposed to be for injectors. And all of the f-buttons along the bottom go blank.
I have found posts with other people having this same issue but I haven't found the solution yet |

I did exactly what you said then opened INPA with the shortcut that was on my desktop and it opened the Mike's BMW Easy Tools set up again... when it was done I still had the same problem.
So... I copied fresh copies of your folders over again and opened INPA directly from within the folder (didn't use the shortcut). and now I am getting this error "The system can't start because api32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I'm lost now, I don't understand why INPA is so hard to get working. I used to have it working on my 2009 MacBook running VMWare and Windows XP but it took forever to get it going but it worked. That machine no longer has enough RAM to run the VMWare image so now I am trying to get it working on my Windows 10 64bit laptop and here's where we are now..... Thanks in advance for your help! |

Hey BimmerGeeks, I'm having the exact same problem as Opo, have you found a solution to this? It'd be greatly appreciated. Just like him, whenever I enter into MSD80 all the menu options at the bottom are empty and there is no option to the right for injector coding. Thanks, Nathan |

Should I just go with the other method found in this forum that people are using to get it working on windows 10? Thanks, |

BimmerGeeks you are the man!!!! This fixed it, and now the menus all seem to be in English which is great. I can't express my gratitude enough for the help!!! Someone should make a thread on using your instal files to easily get INPA on a newer version of windows. Would that be okay with you? |

I'd be happy to do that as long as it's all reasonably straightforward. This part of it seemed almost too easy! I'd have my notepad out taking notes as you went along so I could remember everything.
I'm assuming there are additional necessary steps to get EDIABAS, winKFP, and NCSexpert working then? |

What is missing? Path? Wrong launcher? I am on Windows 10, inpa recognizes the cable with 2 black dots when the ignition is on.

Update
Update: THANKS, INPA is working now and I cleared my airbag light on my E60.
![]() All I had to do was to execute INPALOAD from the bin folder to get it to work. Is there another shortcut I should have been using? (don't have one). No importing of any daten files required (I don't have a clue how to do this anyway). ps. I use the K+DCAN cable for INPA, never had to cross pins on any cables before. I used PAsoft on my E46 and E39 for years without any changes to the bmscanner cable. Why would I need to cross any pins? When you say cross, do you mean short (interconnect) them, or do you meant transpose them (switch them). ![]()

p.s. I didn't get an answer to my question. Why do I need to use inpaload from the bin folder? instead of using the desktop inpa link? Somehow the desktop inpa link got replaced/changed it seems.
