I love the "experience" although I found the waiter was a bit of a stooge...

They left us hanging for way too long at the beginning, never asked me if I wanted another beer (I complained and got one for free )....

Otherwise I love that place for its decor, bathrooms, and of course, the food is great!

How did it measure up to you more savvy Indian food people?

Music too loud, lights too dim to even see the smallish menu and waiters inexperienced. They took away one of our untouched appetizer without asking us if we finished. But the food was great and the place itself, including the bathroom is enjoyable..... Did you see MTV? He was at our old dublin meet.

Besides the poor service the place is groovy. Nice tunes, cool ambiance, much better then expected food, although my peas paloa was simply peas tossed into basmati, the Kalmi Kebab, roti, samosa and gosht shahi korma was great. Lise and I will be back for sure. I'm going to see about getting into the kitchen the next time around. The waiter introduced me to a couple of the chefs - I wanted to see if they would make me chapati (denser type roti/naan) or if they would make me a dosa ... No such luck, so it'll have to wait for Bombay Choupati.

Meeting Sandrine, Alexandra, Olga and Natasha was wonderful. Looking forward to doing it again.
