For most of the country it looks pointless to worry about it now or even in the foreseeable future unless you want a massive headache if something goes wrong. Then who would buy the first cars from a new manufacturer (daily driver) without some reasonable plan to get it fixed -

Things have changed radically in the last 10 years in the world of EV's and I can't tell when Lucid will start producing cars in any significant numbers. Each month that goes by without cars available makes it more difficult for them to compete long term.
I buy a car from an established luxury car manufacturer I get it fixed local, more than one option for each, and they give me a loaner. I then don't care much if it takes them weeks to get the part in.

Agree, Rivian will be the one to watch in my opinion, especially since they are backed by Amazon and Ford, and unlike Lucid will be arriving with America's two favorite types of vehicles, a Truck and SUV.

I was surprised to see that showroom or whatever it is when we went to West Palm Beach recently. Not sure what they actually do there. While I'm glad theres more competition coming to the EV market this one honestly does nothing for me. I think the exterior is rather ugly, the interior is decent, but still has some stuff I don't like, like the steering wheel. Especially for the money I would just buy a Model S or a Taycan.

I've been to their location in Century City a couple times. Neat store, interior looks very high quality. The car is massive.

No one wants a car, they want SUVs, crossovers and trucks. Tesla has started to shift over just in time to possibly save themselves, but I have my doubts on the success of a start-up that is only offering a sedan...

Wonder if the Air and Gravity names are coincidental P.S. The Air already weights 5,050 (yes, five thousand fifty) lbs, so the SUV... Yikes. |

True, doesn't make me change my mind that Lucid>Tesla, I'd want one just to flip a bird to all the Tesla fan bois out there. (not that I can afford it... )
