Id say about an inch, basically chopped it in half.
I got home early today and put in the rears. It only took about 45 mins for both and everything went good. I just took the car for a ride around the block and pulled it back in the garage, and to me, it looks like the car is sitting lower than it would with the H&R xi springs, but i could be wrong. Ill take pics tomorrow, but at least now we know that i springs work on xi's and give what appears to be a similar, if not the same drop |

theres a thread on this forum of a member who contacted bilstein regarding the b6/b8 and he posted that bilstein stated they will be stateside this winter...
I think he mentioned there hasn't yet been demand for replacement shocks, so maybe we can get all the XI owners to call Bilstein North America and get them here quicker?? Let me find that thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...light=bilstein Bilstein AFTERMARKET & MOTORSPORTS - EAST 293 Timber Road Mooresville, NC. 28115-7868 1-704-663-7563 |

understood. i spoke to Bilstein in North Carolina last week myself - the part numbers exist - service rep. i spoke to mentioned they should be here, possibly by spring.
as far as orderin from Europe, im gonna hold off - rather give the business to a local dealer/distributor...

I'm new here,,just got my 335xi a few months ago. I have done the Dinan Stage 2 ECU, and Stage 2 suspension. The difference is incredible. I live in Denver, and go to the twisties a lot on the week ends. I usually come down HY285 by Tiny Town (for you Colo guys) speed around 50-55mph depending on traffic, road conditions. It's a 35mph zone. Last week end I was doing 65-70 in the same location. It was the first time I tried out the new suspension, I'm sure once I get used to it, I'll be going a wee bit faster. The car handled beautifully. Worth the cost. I did it on the run flats, I'll replace them with,,Yokohomas? Dinan guy said they were good tires, I'll shop around tho. Just my .02 cents, (after thought) It lowered the whole car between 1/2-5/8 inch.

Sway bars, Koni Springs, Koni struts, But you use the stock front struts, for more info, get onto their website, it was a total of $3k installed. I have to tell you, it handles so much better than stock. And it looks nicer with it lowered.

Well,, other stuff, I mailed in my reciept for a 15% rebate, so I don't have everything they added in front of me, thats why I said go to their web site. It was $1357 for parts and the rest was for realigement (sp) for the XI, and of course LABOR! and Tax! I admitt it was expensive, but I'm 54 years old, and would rather have a cert mech do it, and its under warranty. I'm not the mech I used to be, sad but true

The Stage II is springs, rear struts, rear sway bar/ bushings--$1,357 - 15% = $1,153 for parts. |

The rear sway install is pricey. They have to drop the sub-frame to get the rear sway in.
