Its so tricky trying to compare results from two completely different conditions...but the OP's results are nevertheless very impressive...

Napierville is inclined and is known by most drag enthusiasts around the area. I do not know at what extent it improves the numbers however ?

The other local track Sanair is the opposite it has a slight incline uphill, maybe take runs at both and then use the average of the two !

Impressive runs regardless!

Impressive run! that's the beauty of AWD. Try setting the pressure to about 25psi next time, it should help with tires spinning.

With better gripping clutch, you should def. see 1.6x 60'.

Tcase is the first thing that should break next to clutch when launching hard. It's funny people mention tranny first.

true--but the timeslip says it all--great driving. I think we will see more times like this in the Xi--and soon. I am right there too. Got low 12.3 in CRAPPY DA last saturday....12.16 @115 on the gtech today. Just need a few runs with some decent DA.

I think the DPs and FMIC will help Bob improve his time too--although the 35-40 degrees and an open track are hard to find.

Up most people with RWD don't really know or care about T-Case. Coming from a kid who owned a GSX and a built Evo. The T-case goes frist.

But its ok you guys with 335xi's should just give a call to Dog Box lol.

Awesome time for an XI. Congrats!

I really need to do the CDV mod. I can't launch my xi at all. Yet I could pull 1.7x 60' with a stock Mazdaspeed6.

Btw if you want to shut up the skeptics there's a really nice track out in Luskville (Near Gatineau / Ottawa). NHRA track, well kept. You can also find 109 Octane gas in Ottawa.

very similar time with our G-Tech. two week ago 12.12, 12.13 and best at 12.08. with temps at 36-38. With good condition you will be very close to me at track

good luck.

Bob, do you think you might break into 11s with drag radials?

I think he might break the 11.88 record with DRs, DPs, and Intercooler. The question I have is, does an AWD car need 4 DRs all around or just rears?

All four couldn't hurt, but probably don't need the fronts due to squat?
