Haha any decently fast evo's stock turbo? what whp? just curious
I'm really curious to know just how AMS defines a "decently fast" EVO myself. To them what is that like an 11 second car?

Just speculating here. Can't wait till my warranty runs out

The problem at first was cooling and now with METH, FMIC, upgraded oil coolers and im sure soon to come upgraded radiator thats a done deal.

Problem 2,3 are bigger turbos which ya'll are workin' on, and 3 is MORE fuel. Which i havent heard anyone really developing anything like that. Thanks you in advance.
Right now CP-E has my old HPFP that we sent them to analyze it for improvements. This is something that we are looking into.

How does this system install?
One big thing for me currently is to be able to un-install it easily and quickly and mulitple times over.

I believe the lowest you can set the boost is 6psi at wide open throttle.

What, if any, timing control is being incorporated? You mention "Standback can adjust fueling and total ignition timing as well." What methods are being employed?

Lastly, why some many components on the circuit board; wouldn't a single chip work just fine? I keed....
Thanks scalbert. I think the fueling control is very similar to the procede in that the Standback just steers the wideband in a certain direction in order to change the mixture. They also scale the crank sensor in order to make timing changes.

You know, "they say" the best solution to a problem is the simplest one. I guess it just depends on what you're looking to accomplish

Very interesting! I'm glad there's a new player! I really like the end-user adjustability.

it installs much like other systems in that you have to pin it in to the ECU. Honestly I can install one and uninstall it in about an hour.

So it is using the old pin extraction method. No PNP?

I thought since the piggies started tapping into the fuel signals that PNP was necessary to avoid lose pin connections. I never had any problem with it, but some users just don't know how to use electrical tape very well.

This does look like a promising solution. Similar in regards to the Procede, but the user just has the option to really customize everything or destroy everything. I can't wait to see how this pans out over time.

After installing/uninstalling pin-out systems for a while you get used to it (i've been in that ecu box way too many times). But there were tons of people with all sorts of user error with loose pins etc... CP-E really needs to upgrade to a real PNP solution... pin-out just simply isn't acceptable at all. You seem to have some pull there, you realllly should make them change this.

Just think, making if fully PNP let's them up the price another 10%, then you add the 20% BMW tax to that and you can really start making some money (if people buy it)!

sure it will cost more but pin-out just isn't a good solution for a solid system. It just isn't acceptable anymore IMO.

Oh, I totally agree with you I was saying "why wouldn't they" because of the additional mark-up. They end up with a better product and a better profit margin, everybody wins.

Pin out solutions were the early days, when things were developing. We're too far along to go back to pin outs. Even if the PnP solution makes the CP-E $1000 I'm sure that is still pretty reasonable.

I would say one of the main reasons I havent considered CP-E is because of no PnP.

Ask and you shall receive. CP-E says with demand they can integrate a PNP option. They already have some sample harness' ready to go
