You got a good dealer/sales. Every time when I call my Berkeley, CA dealer/sales, he told me that "I will call you when the car is in the dealership." Since I am in Northern California, the car should be in the dealership next weekend (Jan. 6 - 7). I don't know if distance is a significant factor in delivery time. Anyway, I can wait to get my delivery of the E90 335i Ordered 2007 E90 335i w/ Ordered 2007 E90 335i w/ ZPP, ZSP, Automatic, Active Steering, Comfort Access, Power Sunshade, Park Distance Contol, Navigation, and Paddle Shifters. Will deliver to Berkeley, California |

Happy new years. FYI, everyone, cars from Aquarius Leader should be delivering tomorrow, if not today, and on. Someone said he/she is taking delivery of the car tomorrow, but it has Priority one status. The VDC can process ~400 cars per day, so they should be all out around the middle of this week, the latest. Depending on how far you are, expect your car real soon.

Dont all of our cars have P1 status if we've ordered them specifically from the dealer? I thought I remember my SA saying that my car would be P1 for this reason.
Either way, I'm hoping to have my by this weekend, although that may be wishful thinking. This last stretch is the worst so far. I've been pretty patient up until now, but the wait is starting to kill me!

"are we there yet?"
I can't wait to see which one of us on this thread will be the first to get their car. I hope it is me -- but will share in the excitement with any one of you as you take delivery. I don't know if I would order a car again -- this two months of torture is killing me!

I have just checked the oc.bmwusa.com; it shows that the car is at "Vehicle preparation center." Does anyone know how many BMW cars came off the Aquarius Leader? I think that Jwarea80 (So. Cal) should get the car first. I should get the delivery few days after jwarea80 since my dealer is in Berkeley, CA.

The Port of Hueneme schedule said "1824bmw/92ww1/inch/ceres", and I'm taking that there was 1824 BMWs on the Aquarius. The number is different for other ships. The VPC can process ~400 ships, so they should be all out of VPC if they worked over New Year; I know they are open on Saturdays. There's a slight chance that I might get my car first, not only am I in LA, my dealer is in Calabasas so it's only ~35miles. Whoever gets it first, congratulations. Better post some pics when you get it.

It's here
It’s official; my dealer/sales called me today around 2pm and told me that the car should arrive at the dealership (Berkeley, CA) in few hours. I can take delivery on Friday Jan. 5, 2007. So, I will go pickup on Saturday.

Yeah!!!!
I just took delivery of my car. 2007 E90 328xi, 6mt, sparkling graphite, black interior, sport, premium, heated seats, sat radio, comfort. Too late and too dark for pictures -- will post some soon with some driving impressions. The first things I noticed driving 20 miles home from the dealer: headlights that turn with the car -- very cool; this thing is quieter, rides better and handles so much better than my TL. What a beautiful machine -- I am in love. The wait was worth it!

Douger - were you on the Aquarius Leader and took delivery of your car in Seattle? Was it Seattle BMW or Bellevue?
Thanks.

It was Bellevue and my car had to be on the Aquarious Leader. While I was not told the ship's name -- I was told departure and arrival dates and which ports. I do not believe there were two ships leaving the port in Germany and arriving at Port Hueneme on exactly the same dates.

Anyone else took delivery yet? I still haven't gotten mine and am pretty upset it's taking so long. Other people with ED cars got theirs; hope I get mine soon, REAL soon because I can't wait anymore.

Got my car today. Dealer don't want to give me some free mats. I have paid $1000+ over invoice price. They added $40 to the final price. Some additional DMV fee. My sales couldn't give me the Navigation DVD. He told that he will mail to me next week. However, I do like the car a lot.

Im picking up my car tomorrow at 11am. I hope he gives me the floormats, otherwise I wont give my SA all 5's.
However, I'm hoping this wont be the case since my SA has been really good so far!
