The last time i ran this with the AMS FMIC, its was 370-380. I dont think the IC made up 60 hp. I sold my IC to my buddy.

If HP and TQ are on the same scale they will always cross at 5252 rpm.

If, however, the scaling is different they will cross somewhere else. The dyno on the top of page 2 has HP on a 0-350 scale and TQ on a 0-400 scale and the curves cross at about 4700 rpm. Plot them both 0-400 and you would be back to crossing at 5252rpm.

HP is a number derived from Torque (foot pounds) x RPM / 5252

Thus at 5252 on every graph, torque will equal hp

The only factor that will make hp and tq values to cross at any other rpm than 5250 is when the torque is measured Metric units, i.e. Nm. The rpm crossing point will then be 5250*1.356 = 7120 rpm.

Yes, feel free to come to come to the dyno! The 1st dyno was done at the BMW Pembroke Meet... the new 15th run was retuned on 93octane Chevron 12-01-10. Just PAW Mild tune got better +10whp on stock car using barelly 14psi tapering to 8psi!

Users with the same tune on another E90 335i Steptronic w/10k RTF tires & full tank of gas has done 12.746@107.77Mph just with this tune.

All around it seems pretty low for stage 2, but it is still conservative and on a mustang.

Stage 3 mods, 100 octane. (no meth) at 16psi. Mach V Dynojet(Blue) SAE. Bone stock 335i on 93 pump, same day, same dyno, also SAE. Why does almost everyone on here use STD....makes no sense. Use SAE. CORRECT THOSE NUMBERS....Since everyone else has STD here is a second graph with the same run only in STD. Gotta compare apples to apples.

Stock Baseline
Procede Baseline (Autotune) V5 12-17 maps

Bone Stock.

Talk about a power change... It's amazing how the v5 transform the car without doing anything. This car is bone stock and makes amazing power and torque with no other mods. I will post up the rest of the runs with full bolt ons and step by step graphs shortly.

Michael

I look forward to seeing those graphs of the step by step bolt on process. What psi was that full bolt on 92 pump number on. Also, I would like to see that graph. I havent updated to the V5 bc these new maps that are coming out soon...any eta on those. Robert said they should be out this week or next week right?

^ Holy cow that's a ton of power! You nearly held 500ft/lb of torque for a 4,000rpm range! And that's with stock turbos, on pump gas? I mean dang, that is extremely high.

Could we see some datalogs? Not questioning or anything, just like to see how it ran

Car:
e90 07 AT Sport Pkg

Mods:
Dinan Stage 2, CAI, Intercooler

Conditions:
Temp: 58 deg F
Hum: 12%

Dyno: Dynojet
Gear: 4th
Max HP: 299
Max Tq: 340
Max Boost: 14.35 psi

Numbers seem to be in line with what others are reporting, although max HP is quite a bit less than RWHP reported by Dinan @ 342. Dinan stock RWHP was 296. Also, their max flywheel Tq reported 421 at, deduct 15% for driveline (can you make that adj for Tq, same as hp?), call it 366. Dinan reports max boost at 13.2, so not sure if readings on this were accurate or not. These Dinan numbers w/o CAI or intercooler, which probably don't make a big diff anyway at the dyno. Generally happy with the car. A bit disappointed in the numbers.

Both of these seem a little low to me for a stage 2 Dinan tune. I just had my Dinan Stage 1 dyno'd a week ago on a Mustang at the local Cobb shop. I didn't get to do a stock baseline, but I added one at random from their database to this chart for comparison. Max boost on my car was 11.2 psi:

Thanks for the response. Wish I could load my graph. I only have a paper copy and no ability to scan right now.

One thing I'd like to add is info on air/fuel. It shows at about 15 from 2K to 3K and then tapers down to 12 by about 4.5K rpm. Is that normal?

I know, in general, there can be variations between dynos and even day to day, but just seems a bit low compared to some others I've seen online....and definitely from what Dinan reports.

Unfortunately I don't have a baseline to compare to.

Am considering sending the info to my SA to see if it is worth having Dinan take a look. I would expect a canned response, but no downside to asking.
