But really what vendor do you know of that tells people that there is definitely rust and the welds are terrible?? If it rust inside dont you think it will eventually rust outside? There are people on this forum who care about their cars and own them and they are not leased....these are the people that wouldnt want a rust bucket pipe to be installed on their cars..I am pretty much done with this thread...
That's great, but you commented 3 different times on them....so I was just saying, calm down.

I'm well aware of the implications of the internets.

FWIW I'm giving my opinion since I've bought & used them. Maybe that's worth something as well.

Thank you!

Why do people blatantly give away their maximum price point?!?!?!?

Always argue for a better pricepoint. I don't even want to sit here and tell you how cheap I've gotten Iforged, **********s, EAS, Shiv and others to go just by discussing price with them.

BMW 3 series are not these amazing luxurious cars. They're high end for the average guy. People need to get their heads out of their asses and stop paying high end prices because they bought a BMW.

Anywho...back to the main topic.

I've had mines installed for awhile now. Fitment was good and they still do the job with no issues at all, even with all this Texas heat. Buying $700 dps was not a option at all, not because I don't have the money but I think its outrageous.

hey guys i put these pipes on a month or two ago, been meaning to do a quick write-up but been busy. i'm happy w/ the quality, fitment was pretty good, about a 9. i had to muscle 1 of them to match up with the center pipe. would've been MUCH easier with a lift and help, i did by myself on the ground. 1st time doing, overall install wasn't too bad, spent 1/2 day. only issue is i'm still getting error codes with the bms v3 fix, and that's getting old.

i'm not worried about the welds, sounds like the rods they used may have been a little cheap. also sounds like they know this and have owned up and are fixing it, which is good. i know people have posted but here's a few more pics. you can see some surface color on the inside of the one shot - not even something to have a conversation about, just a mole hill...

looks alright to me.. excited to get them. Regarding the error codes on the BMS DPFIX, have you made any adjustments on them?

I'm not talking down about these DP's cause I almost bought them.

But the only problem I see, and the HP loss is probably minimal, but these pipes appear to be welded as sections, and at each section there is a "bump" where the pipe meets the next pipe. Some pictures show the joint cleaner.... others are not so clean.

Obviously some inconstancy. At the sametime, this is a no brainer price.... I'm sure some people here have lost more money at a bar or a shitty date.

Therefore the majority of the problems are cosmetic, and the power loss is probably negligible but plausible (however nothing to cry about).

It took me two adjustments over 3 days and I haven't done anything with it since. As Ron Popeil woud say, "set it and forget it".

At this price point, I am guessing these things are made in China. Just like the E46 M3 headers people got for $200 off Ebay. Some fit, some didn't, welds were OK etc...

But nobody could ever claim and justify that AA headers for $1000, or SS headers for even more were worth more or had better performance than the Ebay headers.

A few of us pitched in a paypal donation and dude bought some, then dyno'd them and showed like a 15hp gain or something...so proven cheap performance mod.

At least the vendor is looking at the product and examining them for some type of quality control, if you are happy with the lesser quality, they are reducing the price even more.

You could probably send those pipes off and have them chemically treated against corrosion and then maybe heat coat them for under a few hundred bucks...still less than half the price of rest of the competition at $700 they ask.

I'm seriously considering a set of these. At $168 new or even less, it's hard to pass up.
Anyone perform their own install on an e92? Thoughts?

My 2 cents...
Buying a set of Raceland vs. UR is like buying a from Harbor Freight vs. Snap-On. Value is purely subjective.

I think counter clockwise is stronger. I landed about 3:30 on the clock and it worked perfectly.

Mine should be here on Monday or Tuesday. I want to put them in ASAP. Just got my BMS DP fix yesterday. I wanted to know, did they come with bolts or gaskets?
