Questions for the out of towners....so if I decide to work out a deal with Irv, how many times would I have to fly to chicago?(thinking twice...once for paperwork, and then to pickup the car)

How about never. Im in the hotel as we speak... ready to pick up the car in the morning at the performance center. I havent seen Irv so much as one time.

They will ship over the paperwork and do the rest over the phone. Just pick the car up at the performance center

Even though I'm in Houston Irv was kind enough to connect with me via phone and answer all my ED questions. He even walked me through the ED process and gave me great feedback on a quote I got from a local dealer.

Irv definitely loves what he does and strives to go the extra mile.

Just call him up, its not like he is going to give one person one deal and another a different deal. We all talk to each other on here, and he is on here as well. Its pretty much in the open at this point.

i'm from new york and got his name thru this board. and he was great about answering all my questions. spoke to him multiple times and always made time to talk to me...never rushed. knows his stuff. great guy.

Ordered my E93 from Irv - another thumbs up! Most of the Chicago area dealers are gouging for the E93 (MSRP + $x) but Irv gave me the same deal he gives everyone for ED.

Only problem I ever had in getting a response was trying to figure out when Irv wanted the money for the car.

I've visited him in person, and his ED file is impressive - separate folder for each customer, cover sheet with all info, and checklist to make sure everything is set. Definitely the mark of a great CA.

One word describes Irv--Fantastic--I live in California and didn't even purchase my car from Irv but he has been there every step of the way helping me out with my European Delivery purchase. If this is the service he provides to someone who is not even his customer, then hios customers are very lucky indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes he is. He's doing a pretty good job and managing his time very well, since he also has his website, blog and forum to maintain so people have access to the latest information.

I had placed an order for a 07 530i in 1/07 for ED in April, I got the confirmation and the production number, and while I was waiting for the car to be built, BMWNA ED Department called Irv, and apologized that they will not be able to produce a car for me as the factory had shifted production to the 08 models one week earlier that expected ( which was my production week).

As I had already reserved flight tickets and hotel, etc., and after numerous phone calls, Irv got BMW to give me an 08 535i with similar options, for the same price as the 07's. I had locked my rates on the 07 at 0.008 including the ED rate adder, and Irv made them honor that too. BMW paid 7000$ to match my quoted payment for the 530i.

Irv put so much effort and time in this, just to earn a loyal and happy customer.

So, I got a 535i space grey/ black/ sports/ cold/ premium/ Nav/ PDC/HUD 36 mos/ 15k miles with 0$ down (excluding 1st month/SD) for 584/month . Oh, and i got an Ipod adapter for free.

Irv is a great salesperson, explains everything and is not pushing, just wants to get you the car you want, works really well for people coming in and knowing exactly what they want. I shopped around and did a lot of research before ordering my car and having Euro Del.. Everyother dealer tried to talk me out of it and buy a car on their lot. Irv was different he gave me a great car buying experience

You should post this story on his blog and forum, it will help people realize that BMW's customer service is top notch

Irv is so professional and knowledgable compared to the other dealers I talked to. If you are doing European Delivery, you must buy through Irv. He knows so much about European Delivery and is so helpful with you when buying a car. I can't wait to meet him in May when I pick up my new E92!
