Its rather annoying...As I have stated plenty of times and everyone else has stated, at my CURRENT power levels, the exhaust wont really make that big of a diff. in power. Maybe next time I will go back and run the old maps but that wasn't my goal. I am really happy with the results and there is MUCH more power under the curve with these new maps...

EDIT: Its also not about just switching the maps, its having the same ambient temps, pouring the same 10 gallons of 104 sunoco gas in it, predicting how much gas I had in it before to ensure it was the same mix. Do you know how hard that would be to replicate. All those variables and you want to gripe...lol ridiculous. Whats your goal in asking/criticizing about my new runs?
No Negativity Just surprised you didn't do at least one pull on 12-17 maps, which is map 5 by the way. Also, you could have done it at the end of the session so you wouldn't have 'messed up' your adaptation or whatever.

It was 10 degrees warmer, which obviously showed a 5-10whp difference.(which is what Dan told me) It needed to be done same day same maps. He said the humidity was higher as well, there are sooo many factors. We gotta compare apples to apples right?

Its really amazing what you say to convince yourself that exhaust gave you power. Whatever power you gain was from the new map. As for making power to redline, if you squish anything enough you can make a stock car seem like its making power to redline, when in reality you dropped 40hp by redline which is about what every stock turbo does. 350-360whp at redline max.

I dont know if you didnt read what I wrote or you are just being an ass. I said that in fact most of the power added was due to the map change. I think the exhaust helped a little. We will see how this exhaust performs against the others after I upgrade these turbos. Im sorry I cant get everything all done at once, I do have a budget. How is anything squished? If you are talking about my graphs? Even upgraded turbos loose power near redline, Dzenno lost nearly 100whp from 6500-7000, wow even upgraded turbos loose the same amount of power from the exact same rpm, I was trying to show that you dont need upgraded turbos to get INCREASED power to redline! Upgraded turbos only give you more power, they dont extend the power throughout the rpm band. If you get your head out of your ass you will see that the map change is indeed a ton better than the previous maps. That was what I was trying to show. All of these cars loose power near redline, stock turbos, upgraded turbos, so that is obvious. I was simply trying to show that the V5 1-21 maps added nearly 100whp and 100wtq at 6800rpm and at least 75whp and 75wtq at 7000rpm. Please, go piss and moan on someone else's thread. This was a tremendous improvement.

Sorry. All I'm saying is that because the 2 graphs are on the same sheet, it squishes or compacts the lines.
I understood though that you are comparing the red to the blue now and I notice that you are getting more power to redline, but it would be nice to see a graph of just the horsepower where the graph isn't flattened.

Im adding all the individual runs now on my photobucket account. Here is the link: http://s1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb393/Penn999/

Edit: AHHH..I need to change the bottom value to rpm and not speed...dammit. I will add them shortly

Wait, are you trying to say that your new 1-21 maps gave you 100 extra hp at 7krpm over the previous maps?

I is true that the dyno graph shows this....but also realize that the dyno operator let off the throttle at 6600rpm on the prior run.

dzenno lost power because shiv dropped boost so the car doesnt misfire.
You couldnt be more wrong about upgraded turbos.

Like I said stock turbos, you wont push more then 360ish at redline, by playing with boost, I can make peak power at redline on stock turbos if I wanted to it, however to max them out, it needs to be done at a lower rpm. Upgraded stockers work the same way somewhat for the sole reason that its still a tiny turbo...

Its all about what turbo you are using and how much power you are after.

This is your dyno, the quality is obviously shit, but do you still think you made power to redline?

Thats not what it looks like on my comp. I wonder if its a compatibility issue. I am using windows 7 and mozilla. Look at my photo bucket. I am not manipulating these photos at all. I downloaded the dynojet software and I choose export graph and save them in separate folders. What do you suggest I do...actually I couldnt care less, you figure it out. I posted them on my photobucket and they are clear as day on my comp. I will be in Atlantic City again on Mar. 13-15th. Come down and I will show you what power im making...Im going to play poker at the Borgata for a couple days. Come catch up and show me what that 135i has. I will get my meth kit working by then and then we will see who's got a well tuned car. I am coming more than half way, come check it out in person and see what it looks like from behind

No he didnt, I will upload all of the old ones on my photobucket as well...jesus. You guys are relentless. I will prove you he went to the same RPM.

Either the dyno operator let off the gas, or you had a major fuel cut/ignition cutoff at 6600 ....something to be majorly concerned about.

So please confirm - you actually think the hp/tq curve above 6500rpm on the first/prior dyno run (blue on the graph) is normal?

It's not about being relentless--you are claiming things that are frankly silly.

Edit: Actually looking at your AFR log, it appears you might have had a misfire. (Major rich spike..which is common behavior associated with misfires)

All i did was stretch you graph by removing the af ratio portio that was equal in size to the power output. Like i said if you make something small enough you can make anything look good. The chart I posted is simply reality, no magic. Like I said you arnt making power till redline...

So you trying to get up and see what the 135i has vs me? Show me how your knowledge is gonna beat me. Stop letting your fingers do the talking and come catch up with me in AC...Show me that im messing with my dynos...lol Make sure you bring a little cash and I will make sure I bring my Gopro. I am making a ton more power to redline than those running on the v4 maps and jb(x) tunes. Let me see what kinda power that Cobb unit has.

I noticed every time someone proves you wrong, you get all defensive and all "I have a small dick" syndrome on everyone. I can beat everyone in golf, my car is faster, I will beat u in poker, my dick is 14 inches long, etc.

Sorry for the OT, but Clap disproved your claims. Hell, he proved me wrong when I took it at face value.

What did he prove wrong? Can you not see the diff in the power under the curve? LOL I really do believe my car is faster and I am willing to put some $ on the line to show that it is. I prefer to race rather than to talk about it. It really pisses me off when someone tries to talk shit on the internet yet when I offer to actually catch up and see what goes on in the real world its a diff. story. If you wanna catch up I would love to see what kinda power you have. I was just offering a chance to meet people I talk to on a daily basis and see whether you talk a big game or you actually have a quick car. Thats all, I just love a challenge, and when people talk shit I like to prove um wrong...just the way I am.

I like how you talk shit on here but dont wanna back it up in person. Im driving 6 hrs. Pshh 3 hours is nothin. You can analyze all you want, my car is in top shape. Wait til i get this meth kit workin...also Quaife LSD is going in on Wednesday of next week, we can go from a dig if you want to show off those drag skills you have. I'd prefer a roll but a im sure I would get you from a dig as well.
Where did i mention my car? Oh thats right, I didn't. And btw, go hit a track, with that power you will be lucky to hit 115.

What shit didnt I back up? All my dynos/track days are all on here. Trapped 117-118, dynoed 426 in lighter car. Now I have a low boost map on a new tune that doesnt let me changing anything (yet) and you're calling me out? Child please, let me change the settings and dial in my car and I will never see or hear that overpriced ricer exhaust.

I catch up with BMW enthusiasts all the time, we have an 804 meet about once a week and I like to meet the people behind these names? Whats so weird about that? I said I would be in his area and would like to see if his car is in fact as fast as he claims...or at least to back up all the shit talking he does.
