Vishnu PROcede v1.0 software and baseline Maps

Shiv,
Since I'm not a PC guy and won't be able to upload the files, when will the PROcede with stock and 91 tune be avialable for sale with the switcher and code reader ?
I'll be buying one when you have them ready to ship and I don't have to wait for 1 part.....

Shiv,

Just a suggestion, there are no new notebooks that will have a 9 pin serial connector, they were phased out 1 year or so on a notebook. You may want to consider offering the USB to DB9 RS232 cable as part of the package. Obviously charge for it but there are many cable types out there with a wide variance in the quality of the drivers.

Also, if you did include this cable, perhaps there is a way to leave it connected to the Procede unit so that you have an easy access point somewhere hidden in the car.

Know for this tuning program your best bet is to get an old THINKPAD off ebay for a couple hundered bucks and rock that..
YES i bought a laptop off ebay for 250$ shipped to my door!
Ibm thinkpad T23 came with windows xp,office all kinds of shit and works perfect! I will also use it for my aim program Race studio 2..

Has anyone tested to see if this software will run in Windows Vista? and will it run on x64?

I might not have a x86 winxp machine around anymore in the not too distant future.

I can test it tonight and post my results... (although I can only test if it will install/run, because i dont have a procede yet)

Try downloading a fresh copy? And Winzip should work BTW, not just WinRar. It's a zip file, both programs would open it.

Looks like you will have to find someone with a laptop to upload the files to your procede if you want to change the preloaded maps. You specify your model and transmission and it comes preloaded with that software. There should be 2 modes on the Procede for you to switch maps (specify this when you order) and the code reader is for sale. You just have to request it and pay the extra $65.
All this info is burried somewhere in these forums but this is what I can remember off top of my head....

I have emailed them a few times.
No response.

If they want my money, a simple response is fine.

The time he took to post 'please stop', he could have repsoneded to me by saying...... 2 Weeks.... or whatever the ETA would be.

I know he's busy, but this isn't the first time.

I'm pretty sure he's a big enough boy to stick up for himself......

There should be no reason to upload any files in the PROcede. The PROcede will already come loaded with both a Stage 0 and a Stock map. At this point, you will need laptop to switch between the two. But very soon, we'll release a radio controlled switcher that will allow you to do the deed with the a key fob. The PROcede kit (with C-reader) is available and shipping now. The switcher wont be ready for sale for another month or so.

This was asked I believe but want to make sure... Is the Stage 1 map different than the one I received for the so cal tune?

sorry if someone already asked...just wanted to see if htere is any reason i should load this map rather than keep the current one i have.

Yep... its the same you that you are running. So there is no need to reload it
