Then its not Dinan S3.... And there would be no point to get Dinan if someone did that cause then the warranty aspect is voided making the whole point of dinan tune that much more pointless.

hahaha...dont worry im not goin with the jb+. I already ordered my cobb from **********s. and the kid that has the dinan s3 doesnt know anything about this...he just knows that its fast and his dad paid for it. im the one who does the research and wants to get proper upgrades and install myself. anyway he only has the dinan s3 package and its fast.

how much do i gain by getting dps? maybe 15hp? i just dont see how just 2 parts will make a huge difference.

you can get more than 15hp w downpipes but the tuning needs to be there to support it

ZTUNER gained 40whp on the Cobb stg 1 with an ets fmic.
After the tune, it's the best bang for the buck.

JB3 Vs Cobb

BTW

It's already proven that dinan cars run similar times against JB3 and Procede cars when a tune is the only thing that has been added.

Thanks for your order on the COBB AP and I know that you're going to love it 100%. Here is what they're looking to do by the end of 2011 below:

1. Continue to find ROMs for 2008-2011 N54 turbo engined cars and create maps for the 1, 3 and 5 series. This includes the xi and is. We are waiting for a ROM to be provided for the N54 equipped Z4 to see what efforts are required. The X6 is currently lowest on the priority list for N54 vehicle support.
2. Finish developing the serial based communications protocol to enable AccessPORT compatibility with 2007 model year 1, 3 and 5 series.
3. Stage2 maps for supported vehicles.
4. Finish development of AccessTUNER Pro and get this into the hands of professional tuners (end of 1Q11).
5. AccessTUNER Race end-user tuning software will be released after AccessTUNER Pro has stabilized.

The only good thing I'm seeing on those SLIPS is the driving. Trap speeds are barely above stock......dinan boost decay in action.

Well im getting the cobb very soon here and hope that its worth it over jb4 which is what i was gonna get until everyone said get cobb lol. and hope they do start to add more maps because cobb is more expensive than jb4 and has less options on it so far so hope it really is worth it...

WOW Sniz you are really drinking the haterade (gulp, gulp. gulp). You know JB3, Procede and Dinan produce the same results when added to a stock car? No matter what the case those are the facts. BTW a stock 335 traps at 103-104 and 1/4 mile being 13.4 -13.5. Im under the impression that you think a stocker does 107 traps.

You need to check the 1/4 mile sticky. I did a bunch of research before purchasing my tune and piggies are much faster than Dinan. Like Sniz stated, Dinan drops boost considerably at the top.

The 335IS is faster than Dinan and pushing more boost... and this is just tuning.

your post shows that going from dinan stg 1 to stg 2 gets you 12 thousandths of a second in the quarter. How much is that per thousandth in dollars??

FYI- your link to that race- 2 very different cars- the cobb car was MT- XI vs AT-I. Oh, and since that race was run, the JB3 car has sold his JB4 (he upgraded first) and now has a Cobb AP. Just thought you should know.

You seem misinformed. Sniz is speaking the truth. You need to go by trap speeds to see the power gain. Cobb on a bone stock pump gas car has hit over 110. The piggys have done this as well. Show me where dinan. traps over 110 on a stock car.

Incorrect.... Dinan is never near any other tune. This is fact and its clearly obvious when you look at there boost graphs. Dinan did not produce their tunes or parts to be the fastest. Just high quality conservative bumps. With quite a price tag but thats a different story.

I can race a Dinan car right now any stage and get smoked in the 1/4 mile, cause im spinning tire into 3rd gear, but I will trap she sh*t out of it showing im making more power. On the 40 roll... buh bye!
