Can you do a DIY? I wanted to try but would help with the pics of the procedure. If you can get any sound clip too would be nice.

I just ripped it all back off. If you really must.....

Follow the first few minutes of Shivs install for the PROcede uptill the bulkhead plastic piece is off. Once you get there, you can easily access the rear area to plug. Its this...

Trust me, use the cap off a quart of oil when you plug it. Run a lot of tape around the area to plug. Then screw on the cap. It will literally make its own threads and create an air-tight fit.

I didnt really notice much if any sound though.

Maybe, but it works. If you can get some nice looking bung caps that seal perfectly by themselves, it wouldn't looks so ghetto.

I know that my BOV wouldn't sound at all when I was revving it in neutral, too boost I had to load the engine. Did you try driving it around at all?

Yeah Ive got a manual. It certainly was blowing an assload of air out of those pipes though.

Think I will have different results if I put it back together and take her for a spirited ride

you, i dont know why he thought i was talking to him, but it applies to both of you, the turbos wont spool as much for a manual as they do an auto when revving in neutral, therefore less blow off
