all i did was uninstall my AP before i dropped the car off.

when i picked it up, i had the AP in my pocket - 200 yards from the dealer i reinstalled my AP at the gast station while punishing a Monster and some beef jerkey.

Why do you think that people who sell a speed delimiter say THIS MIGHT VOID YOUR WARRANTY well because these things are stored incase of a big claim. Rpm is the same thing it IS stored.

Yep, but most around here don't like to talk about it. Speed delimiters work by clamping the vehicle speed hardware sensor going to the ECU, but the actual speed is coming from the stability control module and being transmitted to various nodes including the ECU via the vehicles bus.

This maximum speed is stored in these modules, like the stability control module, and can be pulled by the dealer. In addition the ECU also receives the true speed via the bus and is aware the bus speed and hard-wire speed do not correlate, which can throw plausibility codes.

Most likely not going to be a problem unless you have a serious warranty claim though. Like blown turbo/motor that justifies opening a PUMA case. Or a serious accident where an insurance company or district attorney is looking to assign blame. But that data is thereand can be pulled easily.

I wasn't stating Cobb blew an engine, learn how to read. I asked can you show us an engine that was blown, was Cobb tuned, and denied warranty or had it voided based on the RPM limit?

Unless you have a big warranty claim, they wont check it. Its a risk but up to you if its worth it or not.
I have yet to delimit mine on my procede yet, but if I lived near the Autobahn...it would be a different story

They do, depend on the situation. My previous E92 07 335i had the whole engine rebuilt.
