Right now ~6,500rpm. Maybe with PROcede v2.0, Shiv will provide us with more HP/TQ to redline, so we can shift at redline for the best times.

For comparisons sake, this was just posted. PROceded Sedan goes 12.95@108.09. Not sure if its AT or MT.

Nice time and trap speed...that's what I was hoping for this past Fri. night. Since it was my first time at the track, I was happy with my 13.097 sec. @ 106.67mph (w/ a 60ft. time of 1.977 sec.), but my goal was to get into the 12's...next time w/ PROcede v2.0 perhaps.

If you have a dyno chart, or have a dyno chart that has similar mods you can figure out the best shift points.

I have a shift point calculator if you send me a dyno sheet I can plot your optimum shift points.

With cool weather you should be able to hit a 12. If the V2.0 gives a 40+ hp boost, then 12s should be easy, even in the summer heat.

No need for a dyno. Do a 1/4 mile run while pulling MAP and RPM data from the Procede. You can easily calculate where acceleration is the strongest. I wrote a post about it a week or so ago.

I continue to pray to the "Shiv" gods for that.

Yeah, that was QUICK. I've watched your video over and over and I don't understand how you hooked your car so well off the line. I guess the run in the video was with the dr's because that run was 12.56 @ 108.75 with a 1.692 60' time . I don't think it's possible for the stock tires to hook enough to produce a 1.692 60' time...

For anyone who missed it, here's the video...

Yep, he had drag radials in the video and foot braked to about 2600rpm, hence the nice 60'.

From what I've been told, the ATCO track is probably the best in the country; where ppl get the best ETs.

Our track here was supposed to be closed this summer for resurfacing and other construction, but they've delayed that until at least next year; I guess it's known that although it's at sea level, Moroso is not the best track.

Yea, ATCO is the fastest track in the states, that is for sure.

California needs to open a track closer to sea Level. Sacramento isnt bad but its 7 hours away!

Hey, so maybe my 13.097sec. @ 106.67mph may have been ~ 12.8x sec. @ the ATCO track???? I guess it's kind of dumb to think about the "what if's;" but I'll go back to the track in the late fall (when its much cooler) to see if I can get into the 12's...but this time, I should have PROcede v2.0 to help!!!

Hard to say. Stock cars have trapped 104-105 whereas PROceded cars are 5-6 mph better. Just depends on the conditions where they made those runs.

Bolt-ons and tune and they running flat 12 or high 11s. Add cam and keep two hands on steering wheel.

A tune and bolt-ons might take a 3300lb. C6 close to 12 flat, but not a 3800lb. GTO. There were plenty of modded GTOs the last time I was at the track, and the fastest was doing 12.8x @ 111 mph. A stock GTO is a low-mid 13 car, not 12.

Wow...those are all damn good numbers, modded and stock. However, the only thing I can tell you that the 6.0L GTO (probably stock??? ) that ran the 1/4mi. track the night I was there, didn't see those kinds of numbers...he was in the 14.0xx time range. Maybe he messed up or maybe the very hot and humid weather and somewhat poor track conditions got the best of him. I ran 13.097sec. @ 106.67mph in my PROcede 335i and my buddy in his stock 335i (w/ RFTs) ran 13.618sec. @102.78mph.

In addition, I briefly ran against a 6.0L GTO with exhaust from a 20mph roll to ~80mph, and I beat him by ~ 2CLs. At the stop light, we spoke for a minute and he even said, "Holy sh!t, I didn't know the 335i was so freakin fast." I told him that a stock 335i does 0-60mph in ~ 4.8-5.0 sec. and 1/4mi. in 13.4-13.6 sec. @ 105mph, but I have the PROcede so I'm even faster. :rocks:

I'm not saying that all those numbers you quoted are b.s. as I'm sure they're all true track numbers but I think there are many factors involved which would show wide variations.
