haha wasn't saying anything bad about the asian students, just know from previously working a dealership there that they were typically the ones buying the nicer cars.

and I just came from owning an Audi so I really haven't paid much attention to the different BMW's until now..will be on the lookout in the fall.

i absolutely hate my drivers carpet mat. The bottom rips and slides forward all the time. They should've just added a clip that locks it into place.

^^^ Agreed. Plus come winter when I go back to Iowa, knocking the snow and salt off my boots is really going to take a toll on them.

update: Oh yeah and if anyone has a carbon fiber wrapped interior on their car I'd love to be able to see it in person. I'm considering taking the task upon myself and wrapping my dinged up brushed aluminum in a glossy black.

The only thing you need to buy is a OBD2 cable... i got one for around $100. The software to do it can be found online.

Where are you at? You're welcome to take a ride in mine and feel the Alpina flash.

Just ordered my OBD cable, will be doing my Alpina flash once I get it. As well as doing some other goodies like digital speedo, key in socket alarm, IDrive warning delete etc... Prior though I'm currently doing my research on how to code each separate thing in order to familiarize myself with the process.
