Ok guys! Got some great news!

My AFE race pipes shipped out yesterday and will be here next week

I ordered a pair of those "F10 style sidemarkers" from Bimmian! (amber lighting, clear lens, gloss black surrounds)

Also, what do you guys think about the taillights?

Got some parts yesterday!

I will be installing my aFe race pipes this coming Tuesday

I also got my oil change kit from getBMWparts.com! Awesome guys over there btw

Installed my F10 sidemarkers too. I really like them!! They match my gloss black kidney grilles and window trim very well.

Hi Chris! First off, very beautiful ride bro! Great upgrades too! If you don't mind, I would like to know the difference between having the PE with stock pipes versus PE with AFE Race Pipes. I love my PE, but if there is something we can do to improve (maybe the sound), I am open for it.

Did it make a huge difference? Sound wise and performance wise? Thanks for the time bro!

M3's cost a lot guys, insurance etc.... could be why? btw I read all your reasonings why you regressed from the M3 to the s2K to 328, but that's the only thing I can think.

Thank you! The difference is that the aFe pipes delete the secondary cats. The car does feel just a little bit faster, and the exhaust has most definitely gotten louder. The burbles and backfires in the exhaust have also become more pronounced. The sound level of the exhaust where it's at now is about where I wanted it. Just the PE alone was not loud enough for me. I have gotten quite a few compliments in the last few days. I would most definitely recommend the aFe pipes to anyone.

Thanks for the helpful inputs bro! Yeah I agree, I mean, PE are very nice and made a lot of difference from stock but not as huge as I am expecting it to be, but I am happy that I don't sound like Prius anymore. hahaha!

Last question bro, the AFE racing pipes, I see that you have E92, will it fit E90 LCI sedan? Thanks again for your time and again, your E92 is B-E-A-utiful!

If I was going to do my 197 style wheels a different color, do you guys think gunmetal or gloss black would look better? Keep in mind I plan to have my mirror caps done in gloss black and I want to also wrap my roof with gloss black vinyl.

hey, I knew i recognized your username from M3post! your MR E92 was gorgeous bro but so is your new SG E92. i love all of the mods that you've done so far and as far as the wheel color goes for your 197's-IMO i think that these wheels would look really sick in gunmetal even with a gloss black roof/mirrors.

thanks for sharing the build with us and keep us posted!

Car looks great! My car is the same color combo, so I'll watch this thread closely.

Any more shots of the kidney grills/front shot? Were your kidney grills painted gloss black, or did you buy them like that? If so, where did you get them?

Have you considered an M-Tech front bumper? (makes the car look more aggressive)
So far I love the way your car has turned out!
