That's thinking glass half full definitely. Which it's good to stay positive in times like these, But also remember members who spent time on forums, stressing, etc, that also counts for something and time also equals money.

I totally feel that side too because I've been in talks with Andrey about this since June of 2014 so out of everybody I've waited the longest for this product. But I put my trust into that pot and didn't bother to listen to fire starters here. Which is def fine but with bumpers being shipped and sold everyday now I can't see a new company going under cost on these either

I filed a dispute roughly 2 weeks ago just to protect my end. I do still want this bumper but the design issues and delivery date concerned me. Is the delivery of February still on track and have they addressed the design issue? (Sorry haven't checked in this thread for a couple weeks)

So are the e92 bumpers going to need extensive prep work from the body shop besides spraying on primer? Or is that just the e90 folk? Because I'm not looking to have to pay the body shop to trim a bumper that is supposed to be made out of two OE bumpers which in turn should create a perfectly fitting bumper...

This has been addressed a few times already, but no the E92 bumper will need 0 prep work according to Andrey. They will lack the thick primer the E90 bumpers came with. All in all the E90 bumpers did fit like OEM it was the thick layer of primer the manufacturer sprayed on the bumpers before shipping them out to Andrey that caused fitment issues. So we will be good!

Instead of that thick primer the bumpers will come in the form of any other bumper. So body shops will have to buff sand and primer before paint. Which is what you usually pay even if you buy an OEM bumper. The thick shit they sprayed on the E90's will not touch the E92 bumpers. I can't speak for wtf the e90 manufacture was thinking because if it wasn't sprayed on the bumpers would have more flex and easier to install. So underneath they're fine it's the primer they sprayed on top.

Andrey also guaranteed 100% fitment for the E90 bumpers. I wouldn't hold my breath. It's rare that a replica product first hitting the market is going to have 100% fitment.

I don't understand. And maybe I missed the post explaining it, but why isn't Andrey posting in the forum? Why is he going through a middleman? If I was the owner I would want to inform the community myself so that people know me, so that I can regain people's trust.

It seems like the common thing to do is to post every few weeks?

So strange, he used to be like all vendors where they bump with the standard "All PM's replied to"

You both make good solid points, I do know Andrey has been busy getting orders to local customers and shipping the orders left for others. However, he should be on the forums speaking more so rather than us on his behalf. Time management might be the issue including being overwhelmed? I'm not sure but the information is getting out there to all of us either way

I don't know. So next time when I go to best buy instead of asking the customer service reps (who may be busy because of time management issues) I'll ask the other customers, if they can assist me, and hope they can because they heard some information from someone else. Reminds me of a quote from a movie, maybe you guys have seen this one...

"My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious."

He posts in that new thread in the general discussion section.

Well he's been addressing the other thread which Game has provided the link on above. Information regarding these bumpers hasn't changed much and we're awaiting for updates from the manufacturer also which should be soon

I'm wrapping the bumper tomorrow afternoon since my vinyl is coming in the morning so I will post all the photos once I do since it'll only let me upload one photo at a time on my phone .

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to update everyone real quick. I have been active and communicating with everyone I just have been updating the other thread on the vendor comment section regarding e90 1m bumpers. We have been working hard fulfilling gb and pre sale orders and we only have 3 more e90 bumpers left to ship and all current orders will be fulfilled. Currently we have about 9 bumpers shipped/picked up to our customers so we should be getting more reviews/pictures soon along with Kris's finished photos.

As far as the e92 pre/lci bumpers are concerned we have been in constant communication with the manufacturer. They have corrected the crease issue and they have assured us that we are still on schedule/track and that we will not have any fitment issues, so that is what we are going by but of course we will know for sure once we receive them and test them. Once I get new updates from the manufacturer I'll be sure to update and keep everyone in the know. If anyone has any questions, concerns or inquiries please contact myself, Taran or Joe.

IMO, this is ideal either way as polyurethane needs to be baked before primer/paint is applied to remove as much of the contaminants as possible otherwise there is a high chance the primer/paint will start to flake/peel. I think for not only they end user but also Andrey's (liability) sake the come in 'raw' form.
