I'm sure he is talking about my car.

Everything is on personal choice. I like to be able to adjust for different days. I wasn't going for smooth yesterday. I was going for high numbers on an otherwise stock car. Can I make the curve look smoother like the LET cars? Sure. That's what I use for a road race map. My 1/4 mile map has more high end and less low end. My daily map has globs of low end and lower high end.

Vudoo4u2 is correct, if you do maps that matches your mods, you will see much better results that are very controllable and smooth. My results were as expected.

It's all about personal choice. I don't like to be locked into one setting.

I also don't think it's very cool if a vendor passes around my dyno sheets to customers as their personal marketing. Certainly if they don't have real details.

ive got mine set to 90% user tq with full stage 1 mods...car runs like a champ, oil cooler barely ever even kicks in...but if you bump that to 97% or 100% with 100oct, and dont have the exhaust mods etc...its goin to be a hella shitty ride lol...everyone wants cheap power...gosh...gotta do it right!!

im hoping that flash looks good on your cars and runs em smooth, thats real important and it has to be nice to the engine temps (something dinan battled with for a while on their tune). i'll be curious to see dynos/further updates from those guys.

as for an example of a solid looking dyno on a procede canbus, jpsimons car really lit it up on pump gas:

absolutely man, i can see your point about the one setting but man the way your engine was moving was fucking scary! I know you were running 100 oct but still.

I don't see anyone (especially a vendor) here posting anyone else's dyno sheets - especially for marketing. I don't think anyone has any of the sheets from today regardless (minus eric@ams). In fact i don't see anyone marketing anything here. Just a conversation between my friends. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it.

I was merely posting my opinions from what i've seen today

No problems at all.

Dyno days like that are for fun. Dynos are really meant to show changes between mods so that you know the outcome. I viewed it as a day to do a little playing and I wasn't scared at all.

I was just referring to:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...postcount=6634

> 'll have to have tony post some pictures so you can see what i'm talking about. but ask carlos or jay or john, that engine was beating like a heart

Are you talking about pictures from Tony's run or my run?

but please don't take this as me being upset, I'm not. I just don't want mis information and trying to understand what you meant.

No problems at all. You can see why I was curious.

It was a fun day and think it's great that people enjoy their cars as much as I do.

Next time maybe it will be over beers and I will buy the first round.

tim what was the setting u used on that dyno run? any other mods? I was shocked when vince pulled off more or less the same numbers than with every supporting mod. maybe it was cause his vanos was fuckin up / adapting.

Vince was using a different map. I'm not sure he has the CANbus set up yet - but I could be wrong... His numbers were higher than mine and pretty smooth. I was impressed.

My car has no other mods and the normal daily map I use is the 2/18'ish Stage 1. When the next CANbus Stage 1 comes out, I will be switching to that. The low end power fits my normal driving style.

Seth, tried installing the spolier yesterday.... Still sat up a decent amount on the corner so couldn't get it done. Have to find some 3M tape that is thicker. What a PITA. Not happy

You going to take that into the dealer soon? I would def get it replaced under the warranty first. You can always upgrade later.
