Just in case you didn't realise, the members of this forum have a large influence on the various members of the worldwide internet public who enjoy visiting this little corner of cyberspace. We've been on BBC Watchdog & that ended up with BMW stopping production of some of their alloys. I wouldn't like to see yourselves on there with us, particularly because Will 'loses it' completely on television & it's extremely difficult to predict what he will do when he sees Anne Robinson.



Now, concerning the party, I was wondering about a venue. The forum headquarters are based over in the States, so I think somewhere a little closer to home may be more suitable.
Is Big Motoring World likely to be big enough for all of us? It's just that I've got a lot of friends & I think most of them will want to come along- there's over 96000 of them, & that's just on this forum!

Somewhere further up north may be out of the question, as a number of the members local to myself may well start telling you what they think of your posts, & that's before they've even had a drop to drink. Now, thinking about it, that could be a problem further down south as well.

How about if we pretended that none of the posters in this thread have ever had any problem with Big Motoring World, you all provide a fantastic, reliable & trustworthy service & everyone is happy-enough with the work you've done for them, to recommend you all to all of their family & friends?

We need to hold this party at Comedy Central or the BBC's Watchdog studios, obviously.

Will charges an extortionate amount for that sort of service, but if you share a room with him at one of the meets, it's relatively free!

We thought about having a 'Saw' sort of theme, where everything is completely insane, getting what you want is painful & the nightmare never ends.
We had the idea of hiding a number of keys on a wall & you've got a set time to pick the right one, before your intended car's warranty runs out. Unfortunately, none of the keys will actually work, but it's the fun that matters, isn't it! What do you think?

Would you like us to create some sort of playlist for the party as well?

Viv, may I suggest a way of choosing what punishment is required at the saw theme party? We could have the Big Motoring world in Kent website up and for every car that's on the website but not on forecourt the pain could be chosen from a poll by e90post members? also the pain could be more intense the higher the value of the car.

we was at googles head office monday the only thing that this silly account of jealous people some of whom i now know who are,etc etc has done is pushed big motoring world up the top of the google rankings infact we are top hit on google and didnt have to pay a penny for it so cheers

we sell 3000 cars a year the odd complaint like every company has... if we was so bad why this year have we invested in expanding and its worked...why??? because we have built up a great buissness on quality cheap bmws

So, being the fair sort of person that I am, and taking into account everything we've said over the last few pages, how about we come to some sort of compromise? Something like this:

a- You collate (put together) a list of everyone on this forum who has clearly made a complaint (something they don't like) about Big Motoring World, you state clearly your company's position (what you think) regarding each & every complaint & you state clearly what you intend doing about those issues & a time scale (when you're going to do something) for doing so, AND
b- You ask someone able to post in clear English, to post on your behalf, AND
c- You start taking this party a lot more seriously, showing some sort of interest in the food, the drink, the music, the rest of the entertainment for the evening & sorting out a list of people that you'll be inviting from Big Motoring World- I'll do the same for E90Post, ok.

If you agree to the above & actually carry it out, then I won't ban you, ok.

Even if you ask the likes of Calvin (squeezebm), who thinks I've had it in for him from the start, he'll tell you that you just won't get any fairer than that.


Now, Petey, regarding the music at the party, would you rather listen to a bit of 'Madness', or are you more of a Shakespeares Sister's 'I don't care' fan?

I've taken the liberty of getting a few quotes from a number of professional catering companies to organise the food for the party. Gordon Ramsay's boys & girls just aren't hitting the mark these days & Heston Blumenthal seems to have got an orange stuck in his Christmas pudding, so it looks like Tony's going to be the best bet as the party's caterer & chef. He'll get the quote sorted soon & I'll have him send it over to your accounts department, so they can cry over the price, but also have their mouths water over the menu selection, ironically.

As for your top ranking on Google, that's when you search for 'Big Motoring World complaints', Pete. When you click on that top link, you'll end up here! We've helped you get there & we'll do whatever we can to help you stay there. That's a promise!
If you can think of any other ways in which we can get you even higher than the first hit on Google, please let me know- I can't wait to hear your ideas.

Oh, one last thing. When you said 'got more zeros in the bank through 20 years of hard graft than you so cant be that dumb can i????', did you mean there were any other digits in front of all those zeroes, or was there just another '0' at the front of all of them? I told my accountant what you said & she told me to just ignore you, especially where your maths & English is concerned. She also told me that you might not be very good at reading either, but she couldn't really be sure about that, although she would be prepared to bet on it.

And finally to 'Bigsy', please take this as helpful advice, not a 'dig' at your poor written English. You have a problem in this area, which you seem to accept and 'good on you' for building up a large business in spite of this (as an aside, the size of your business is not really the issue here). However, we live in a world whereby, in some circumstances, such as business, you will be judged for 'presentation' and this can include the way you come across on paper. My spelling is not good and I too make silly mistakes, but I have a strategy to cope with this. So, here is a 'tip' - Open a blank 'Word' document and type what you have to say in it. Take advantage of the spell and grammar checks that are available. Then cut and paste what you have written into the ‘Reply to Thread’ box. Simples!

I think you'll find that most people on here have been trying to hint that the way you are going about things is not working. edit 2 - the reason this thread has been going on for so long is because there have been so many 'alleged' wrong doings, or bad treatment, by your company, not necessarily because we've got nothing better to do; more fresh people come on here to tell their tale... Honestly Peter, there have been over 65,000 views, over 700 posts - there's a pretty major problem here and it shouldn't be beyond the wit of man (that you!!) to address this. Many of us on here run our own businesses and try to treat our customers as kings. You've got a huge captive audience here who are currently watching you die on your arse I'm afraid.
