Oh chris, we had an E36 M3 dyno at our shop on friday..good customer of ours.

Car made 330whp....yikes...just had headwork (cams, later E36 intake), CAI and a full exhaust with test pipes...stock headers.

Car sounded like a turbo car on the dyno..when the cams got into their zone the thing just came alive...screamed like a banshee up to like 8400rpm or something..

This thing would give me a run for its money...

do you have any input on clutch and lwfw's on 996tt, like which clutches chatter alot??

and how about lwfw's...stalling issues??? increased noise???etc...

havent heard any issues with stalling issues..but almost all lwfw's chatter..or make the gearbox rattle...because of the lack of a dual mass damper, the internals kinda get 'kicked' along, instead of just rolling smoothly with the input shaft rotation....hence all the noises.

I think its kinda cool, sounds more racecar like.

You think street cars are bad, you should hear the box in the #29 car and the Cup and the RS...those gearboxes are NOISY.....you let the clutch out in the RS while in neutral and the thing just bangs and whines its way around...then again it idles at 1800 lol...
