Tomorrow I'll wind the collar to the perch with 3mm gap on both rears and see what happens.
One front is very low and one front is very high so that wont be helping also. |

All coilovers are in.
Total install took around 6-8 hours. No records here. I know why the one i put in yesterday was high. Found out why it was sitting high when i was installing the other rear spring and I went ohhhh... I didnt... oh yes i did.... Fuck I put the oem perch on the spring and didnt look or know what i was doing and put it on top of the bottom spring rubber mount making it gain about 15mm. Not my greatest moment modding considering I had to undo the control arm, take the strut out then the spring took around an hour to fix it. Not adjusted to height properly yet. Just set both the rears 5mm from highest point on the perch. One side i can fit fingers between the wheel and arch and the otber side I cant fit my fingers. Fronts still on the piss about 40mm different so that should lower the other rear when thats sorted. Inks rear m3 guide rods turned up today also. They will be installed with all the other suspension bits in one go. Stoked to be able to adjust the height and have thr adjustability for the track. |

Ild highly doubt m factory or any manufacturer would cover labour costs.
Im hoping they send a new unit so i dont have much down time. I have organised this turbo removal for a couple of months. 6 weeks planned to remove turbos instsll them including the other bits, hoping to fit between certain drag meets. 6 weeks for shipping turbos each way to the US and back, install turbos, instsll the coilovers and bushings etc, new wheels bought shipped and the delivery of hoosierst from melbourne. Pretty dissapointed about the mfactory recall as this next meet on August 19 will be the only realistic opportunity that it will be in cool weather for the year. Its only under 20 degrees at night for about 4 weeks of the year. These will be the last set of turbos for this car. Its finished after i put the turbos and suspension components. |

When I put the rear coilovers in I accidently put a piece in the wrong spot.
I asked VTL about it and he suggested rolling my car backward and forward to let the suspension components settle into position. The only rolling I have done is pushing the car back and forwards in the garage. No rolling of guards were done in any state or territory. |
