I have no personal experience listing on BaT, but there are several comments on this post about really nicely spec'ed E91's being denied where other, rather ordinary E91's get listed. The theory is that BaT selects cars on more than simply the merit of the car.

This is true, although often rightfully so depending on the circumstances.

If a seller provides subpar presentation (25 iPhone photos, no records or underbody photos, etc.) and requests an unreasonable reserve on top of all that, BaT is not likely to accept the car regardless of how good the car is on its own.

Presentation is literally everything on BaT. From recent experience with other friends who have submitted various different cars in varying condition, anyone who submits a full professional photo set on day one with supporting video documentation will get accepted and moved through the system very quickly.

I haven't listed there in almost 7 years but may be submitting my 328iT 6MT in the next few months.

Ah the Beverly Hills E91! I too attempted to buy it from out of state and was ready to call off work to drive down and pick it up.

I think that was/is DonutBoi’s car. It was traded in at a Porsche dealer in Florida and he did a ton of preventative maintenance on it after he took possession. Super clean car.

FWIW, I got my Alpine White over Beige (1 of 3, FWIW), RWD, MSport, automatic with 88K miles for $16,500. I got lucky though....

For sale: 2010 E91 M-sport l Alpine White over Black Interior l AT l AWD l 70k miles

The wagon is in very, very good condition, with complete service records since it was purchased by owner #2 as a CPO. I am now in the process of buying an F31, with hopes of possibly engine swapping it (in a few years), so I would like to see this E91 go to someone from this thread...ideally without the buyer paying a 4.5%-5.0% fee to an *auction* site...

Is a limited auction a reasonable option? Maybe submit bids to me, or to some other third party? I am a long-time poster on this thread, starting on page 5, so hopefully there is some trust. My posts even include the first reference in 2016 to brads2002's wagon (probably after he had already put a deposit on it!). I am open to suggestions...thanks!
