The hold lock button to make all windows go up doesn't work in USA and Canada.

If you change the radio station it will play different songs-that is after you spend 5 minutes figuring out how to change the radio station with the well designed I-drive system.

Wow I didn't know that

I'm a good parallell parker and don't need it at all, but I dig the display when reversing out of tech-fetish. I wish all of the careless a$$holes that have backed into my cars over the years had it. Three new hoods in five years on my last car due to back-up dammage where the hood curves down to the kidneys!

Next cool feature was the auto-drying brakes when I left a car wash... awesome little detail.
You are parking too close if you've had 3 hoods replaced in 5 years!!! try giving the car in front of you a little SPACE.

Then again, try playing with the Nav in a moving Lexus. It won't even let me see FM radio messages while in motion.

You can't use any of the features on the Nav screen. It's retarded.

there's a workaround for that, which is like tap top left of the screen, bottom left twice, top left again, and then hit something else where no button exists, and you get some hidden message. Each time you want to disable the in-motion lock you gotta do this...lol...sucks I know.

Up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-b-a-select-start. That'll do the trick. Oh yes, and doing the hokey-pokey helps too.

Cancelling turn signals

Can be cancelled by tapping lever in either direction, not just the opposite of direction used to activate.

This is really a helpful tip to know. Thank you, ElRedOne. When I first got my 335i, I had a hard time canceling the turn signal after a lane change. My turn signal would go left, then right, then left, then right, as trying to cancel the turn signal often got into tapping the opposite direction. People behind me must have thought that I had split personalities.

I tried to cancel the turn signal by tapping in the same direction yesterday and it worked. But I need to get used to doing that from now on.

Yup, I tried it yesterday too and it worked! It is counter-intuitive (thanks BMW), but still better than the occasional left/right/left dance that can happen when you try to cancel.

This, from a guy who put post-it notes on his floor pedals that read "Go" and "Stop"
