ummm.... BMW themselves call the car a Sport WAGON. Don't get me wrong. I love them, and i own one myself, but i'm not gonna deny that it's a wagon. Some might even call it a Touring Wagon. Still a wagon...

Eventhough my previous car was a Peugeot model 206SW, nobody where I live call them "WAGON".
Of course, in French speaking countries (as in Belgium or Switzerland), we don't speak native English this is why people have named them "BREAK" This might sound funny to you but that is true

Dictionary definition: A wagon ('waggon' in British and Commonwealth English) is a heavy four-wheeled vehicle pulled by draught animals; it was formerly often called a wain, and if low and sideless may be called a dray, trolley or float. Wagons are pulled by animals such as horses, mules or oxen, and are used for transporting goods, agricultural materials or sometimes people. Wagons are distinguished from carts, which have two wheels, and from lighter four-wheeled vehicles for carrying people, such as carriages. A wagon may be pulled by one animal or by several, often in pairs Is this what you drive? Thought not,

Issued from that same dictionnary you quoted:
A station wagon (also known as an estate or estate car) is a body style variant of a sedan/saloon with its roof extended rearward over a shared passenger/cargo volume with access at the back via a third or fifth door (the liftgate or tailgate), instead of a trunk lid. The body style transforms a standard three-box design into a two-box design — to include an A, B & C-pillar, as well as a D pillar. Station wagons feature flexibility to allow configurations that either favor passenger or cargo volume, e.g., fold-down rear seats. The American Heritage Dictionary defines a station wagon as "an automobile with one or more rows of folding or removable seats behind the driver and no luggage compartment but an area behind the seats into which suitcases, parcels, etc., can be loaded through a tailgate." The dictionary also calls the term an "Americanism." Spelt "Shooting brake" in that case Quote:

Alright.. here's my new-to-me-wagon-touring-e91.
His name is Wainwright. I was thoroughly unimpressed with the dealer who drilled the hole in his nose. I have another month before I begin driving it. I may just continue to wax it repeatedly (that's what she said) or do a little something to the exhaust. Tint will happen in Oct, and more stuff when the snow is gone come spring. I have 18" snows to go on. It came with 17" staggered Style 161 with RFTs. These style 189's will be used until the snow, then we'll see what happens in the spring. Likely moar low and 19's.
