Reasonably priced considering mileage. Recent service includes valve cover, valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket and spark plugs. good luck

As much as I don’t like BaT prices for buying purposes…your best bet is probably listing on BaT. In the current market, your E91 should bring near top dollar if OEM M-Sport with RWD & 6-speed manual, plus 50k miles.

Other people have mentioned this in this thread as well.
Google search shows a couple of other threads with the same thing.
Manual listed as automatic.

Bring a Trailer will only accept if I list with no reserve, I don't want to do that yet so posting this here again.
Color combo with m sport and those 513s is off the charts classy.

The Koni Special Actives have been great for the past 12 months I've had them on. They alleviate all the crashiness and harshness from the original sachs sports suspension, I don't feel most of the bumps and undulations (and in NYC we have a LOT), mostly just hear it. I feel like this is how the car should have come from the factory. the stiffness is about the same as the stock Sport suspension, it just handles everything 100x better. Paired with the original OEM sport springs. NVH doesn't exist really, i don't hear the actual suspension, but YMMV will vary based on your tires I think. The one notable thing i noticed is that it has slightly odd behaviour when going over sudden crests, but nothing awful, just an odd sensation of the dualshock rebalancing the other way. The goal was to get something that rides really well for passengers, and performs/rides better than OEM, so this is definitely that.

The only other set of shocks i was considering was Ohlins R&T, but that seemed like total overkill for this car.

my exact goals with my e91 as well! also a NYC resident. was also eyeing the Ohlins R&T’s but definitely an overkill as a DD. appreciate the review!

You got it, glad to help a fellow NYCer. I got the work done at RCT (https://www.rctperformance.com/) really good guys. I got the full suspension refresh from fcpeuro at the same time. Oh i also forgot to mention, I recently swapped out runflats for regular tires, that will basically get your car to a perfect place for an enthusiast DD family car, at the risk of being stranded. switching out the runflats did almost as much as changing to the Konis.

i know the RCT guys! used to get my e90 m3 worked on by them as well. my e91 luckily had the RFT’s swapped out by the previous owner. currently waiting for the E91 Xdrive specific eibach springs to arrive from Germany. hopefully start the full suspension overhaul with all mounts and bushings in a couple of weeks.

currently my car rides a tad bit on the softer side. but certain highway joints upset the car a little too much.

Beautiful car. I don't understand BaT on this. They have the data what this car should bring, they should know their market and it's strength. I could see them refusing a 30k reserve, but in the low 20s or whatever you're asking? There should be some assumed risk by them I think. And they're not really out anything if it doesn't sell, the tiniest amount of prestige because it didn't meet reserve? Dumb but I guess they have as much business as they want right now?

Agree - seems silly. I bet if it were a 6MT with half the miles they would be all over it. Crazy how much they play favorites with repeat sellers...it was ironic how quickly they put up that 6MT alpine e91 example a month ago. Not sure if the seller had that BAT listing in the works for some time before, but it seemed like he presented it on this forum to drum interest, got some offers and then took it to BAT to see what the market would pay - and the following week they had it live.

I agree. I was surprised at how quickly it hit BaT. I recall comments on this thread about folks having trouble getting their cars listed, but that one was up in a day. Granted, it was a true Unicorn ++.....

Angryman11111 you likely have lots of PMs...and since you were the original owner that ordered and were custodian for the last 12 years, Im sure you have some strong emotional ties.

Curious what you're looking for in terms of price - also, any current pics with the condition from enduring over a decade of NYC life?

Much appreciated!

I'm letting go of my 2009 xdrive e91 6mt. Not 100% on what I want for it, space gray over saddle brown. 128k~ miles. I hate to get rid of it but it's time to move on to other things. It's in okay cosmetic condition, any ideas what they've been going for lately?

Well there you go. Benchmark established for a 6MT swapped E91 MSport (xDive) - $29,250.

That's nuts. I threw mine on marketplace for 17.5. I know people are going to try to nickel and dime me, and I'm not super pressed to get rid of it. I'm already having people messaging me telling me I'm nuts. It has some paint wear and such, but after seeing that I'm not sure I'm the crazy one... It's far from perfect, but it's at least (in my opinion) it's a decent spec. But I'm a sucker for the saddle interior.

Gulp. So I am assuming I should get $20k for a higher mileage version? 😂🤣

We'll see what I end up getting out of mine. I'd love to get 20k, but I live in a relatively low population density area and don't want to go through the hassle of bring a trailer. I just keep wondering how much more I could get, and if my list price is low. I think it's decently accurate with condition, but Ill be the first to admit I have no clue.
