I've only driven 70 or so miles with the T1Rs. I like the ride so far! Not loud like the OEM RFTs.

Had VERY little rubbing. Long still rolled the fenders a bit. Going home, I rubbed once off a bad bump on the freeway.

Yeah, I do need the black mesh. John (OC 335i) got the 328i black mesh for his car, right?

with my kid now, and contemplating letting my wife have her car back , I thought about switching out to a slightly softer ride for their sake. I may try softer shock settings and see...but we'll see, I'll probably just leave it

I love the wheels. I just spent about an hour in the garage just mucking around with the car.

I also had to readjust the exhaust pipes as they were a little uneven. I also bought a series of metal files to try and shave a little off the cutouts in the bumper.

I wish I had a bumper that complimented the exhaust.

Do you know what your rebound settings are set at?

I went from super stiff (around the 15th setting) down to the 6th setting (6 clicks from the zero position, turning clockwise).

I noticed after that, when I had passengers in the back, I would rub when going into driveways or when I hit bumps on the freeway.

With the 328 mesh, you can only buy the middle and the left side mesh. Because we have a oil cooler in the right fender, you have to buy or paint that side of the mesh yourself. I believe John bought just the right side black plastic mesh from a vendor off this forum and used the 328 mesh for the rest.

Ask Long to convince Peter to custom make you a vorsteiner rear diffuser to fit your quads haha. It would look great on your car.

Man, I feel bad for Austin (EOE90).

Creative down in SD needed an E90 to have a bumper displayed at Bimmerfest. It's a free bumper but you had to paint it yourself.

It's not a finished job and it sounds like they left him hanging.

Now he either needs someone to help finish the bumper for him or perhaps find another bumper. I asked what happened to the old bumper but he didn't respond yet.

I would LOVE that.

Although... they probably won't make a custom one. Last night was the first that that I noticed that even Long cut his Vorsteiner CF diffuser. I thought it came as a quad cutout, but when I looked closely, it was cut.

dam thats a bad situation to be in. How can you expect someone to help out your company and just leave them hanging like that. This is not going to be a good way to promote your bumper nor your company.

I told him that if it were me, I'd bring the car as is and embarass them. I'd put a HUGE banner criticizing what the vendor did to me.

Long actually needed his diffuser faster because i think he wanted it on for HIN LA? They only had the dual setup done at the time so he had to custom cut it for his quad setup. But Vorsteiner does make a quad setup that comes quad straight from them

That's true... I forgot... The quad cutouts are about 170mm I believe... and my pipes are 85mm, times 2. I'd need to shave some off to make it fit.

I wonder if you shave it will it look kinda off. I mean if only a little bit of shaving needs to be done, im sure long can do it for you. But if its a lot, it might make the diffuser look funny.
