More power - more gas ( decreased milage ). It depends how you drive the car. I never had the average of 9,1 litre, more 12 - 14 litre, even with the untuned engine. This is quite good for a 300 - 400 bhp car.

You said it best yourself.

I've been running around with 100% torque values since I got my v2 upgrade in December. I'm at 3,300' actual altitude, and I never see more than 14.5 psi with 100% values. I'll pull the values back down when it gets warm out for safety's sake. I made 374 RWHP and 434 RWTQ with the v2 and tq. values at 100% with 93 octane pump gas. This was on a Dynojet, FYI.

The internet was not a common thing 30 years ago. The internet has produced more overnight geniuses than should be legally allowed. People will read one article and become a self-proclaimed know-it-all. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, just making a blanket statement. Perception is reality on the internet. You don't have to know what you're talking about. You have to make people THINK you know what you're talking about. Big words are usually popular among this crowd. Many people today think they can use the internet to blackmail a company when they don't get their way. I own two internet-based businesses, and the internet will provide more rumors and false claims than facts and correct information. 95% of the time people want something for nothing, and they will use their posting ability on the internet as leverage to get their way. If you let thousands on a website witness you getting walked over as a business owner, they'll use it against you to get what they want. It's a domino effect. I always treat everyone fairly and do what I truly feel is right as a business owner, but I won't take peoples' shit either. If it smells like BS and looks like BS, someone needs to make the call. The internet exponentially expands a business' exposure and marketability, but everything has a downside. Unfortunately, you get the good with the bad.

There's my rant. Back to the topic at hand.

yes it will use more fuel if you are hammering the throttle, that's to be expected, right ?

But the cruise map is a little leaner than stock in my experience. that means no throttle i.e. on cruise control on the motorway, = less fuel than stock ?

Happy days :@)

No idea mate... They're both irrelevant arbitary figures as far as I'm concerned.

Give it gas and it rocks at 7mpg. Cruise at 80mph and it'll pull 30 to 35mpg

Average for ME is 18mpg at the moment - but I gas it EVERYWHERE !

...my car is a semi daily driver, we have great engines and many of us are working hard to add safe reliable whp.

the last thing i worry about is how much the gas consumption % is going up or down.
it is not going to change that much so stop worrying and enjoy the car.

just my opinion though.

will someone please install my v2? i'm still using 1.45. seriously. my laptop broke a while back. will pay $50 to have installed (San Gabriel area). then I can properly contribute to this v2 thread.

honestly, I like the way 1.45 performs and have had it for a loooong time. I'd be able to tell right off the bat the differences between 1.45 and v2.

I average between 21-22mpg, sorry I dont know how many litres.

My fuel consumption did not really change after installing V2, but it really does depend on how hard you push the car.
