Dave, nice shot for 6400 ISO. It gets very challenging in low light trying to keep the shutter speed fast enough for BIF, even as big a bird as that.

Some swell came to the coast and I took advantage of it. This was 1/2 mile away from me and the waves were pretty big.

I feel so lazy when I come here and see great pics from DC and Ed day after day. I really need to get out and shoot more. I've been doing some portrait work I'm pretty happy with, but I don't feel I can post images of people without asking them and I doubt many would consent. Once the images are up on the public university web page, I'll post a link.
