Kevin, have you seen the "poor man's M3" thread? Dont you think he would have been better off (if he was going to do it) using sheet metal and welding it then grinding it over using fg and bondo?

yes and no, I think he just wants something different that what everyone else wants and at a lower cost than an M. I think once he is all finished he should take it to a body shop and let them try to get rid of as many gaps as possible and really just fix it all up, let them finish the prep before paint. It may turn out to "look" pretty good once it is done, but the wheels are going to make or break this car.
