Took he acoustic shield off the top of the engine and started cleaning. I think it's the first time someone has done this to this car. Took me 40 mins just to do around the oil filler port. I have a long road ahead of me, from what I can see :-)

When I get back off my holiday, the inlet manifold and EGR are coming off for a clean. Am dreading that!

Washed/waxed and adjusted LF door, wasn't closing tight. Now if I could just find some replacement covers for the roof rack attachment locations.

$80-100 Magnaflow 11148 muffler (eBay)

How i plan on doing this.

Pulled the drive shaft and replaced the center bearing.

Sounds like a good day to me. I've been wanting to get quad exhaust for sometime now for my 328i. Would that increase HP or torgue? And how much would that usually cost?

I'm doing this purely for aesthetic so my objective is not the same as your if you plan on adding ponies to your ride.

Honestly, i don' think you'll get much (if any) HP/Torque increases. But then again it really depends on how you piece it together, what type of piping you get (crush bend or mandrel bend), axle-back style or full system, etc. Depending on how you get it done, it will cost you so much more.

The cost benefit is just no there if you want more hp/ torque.
