All six fuel injectors? Wow, with my mods I'm thinking I need to find a open tech that will know the issue and go straight for it. My local one is pretty good, but I would need to have them overlook the downpipes and intakes unless the tech has seen these codes before.

Wouldn't the injector cycle show the fuel injectors failing? Cold Start has been pretty bad lately so thats usually a sign of leaky fuel injector.

The lean codes means not getting enough fuel. So fuel injector issue makes sense. Trust me I ran with those same exact codes you had for long time, after the fuel injectors done, no more codes.

Cobb AP Stuck on "Do NOT Disconnect" screen .(it's not the v3 cobb)
It sat there waiting for it to reboot after updating the firmware - then it never rebooted.
Now the AP itself only shows that screen "do not disconnect" i can't get it to show otherwise. Any help appreciated!

Go with an empty tank and fill with 4 gallons of E85, that should get you in the range of E20-E25 total. This will provide strong knock protection, lower in-cylinder combustion temps, kick up the octane…just good stuff all around. But it's a low enough % to run all day every day without taxing the fueling system a ton. That should mitigate the crap 91 octane you'd have to use otherwise. Corn fuel isn't magic, but it's damn close. So many benefits, and fingers crossed our fuel systems have played nice with it as a general matter.

Please review my logs

ok - Cobb was very helpful today, apparently, we can't run a firmware update on a USB3 port, when i put the AP on an old macbook air - it updated and worked fine.

So yesterday I got the car back from the dealer after inspection and some brake work that was done - i've been driving it without the Cobb for a couple of weeks prior to set all the adaptations up before I gave it to them. For the last couple of days i was given an F30 328 as a loaner, it was much "softer" and a little floaty compared to my e93 335 sport but definitely bigger inside and more comfortable. it was the luxury line.

Anyway my initial impression when i got my car back was that it felt a little "choked up" like the throttle response wasn't as crisp on the first %30 of the peddle as i remember. after driving for a while I decided it's probably because I remember the car with the Cobb installed (even though it hasn't been for 2 weeks). I installed it and it does add a tremendous amount of power but it still feels like the car is somehow heavier than i remember and not as peppy in the first %30 of the peddle as it used to be. like the turbo lag has somehow increased if that makes any sense to anyone.

Can anyone please review my logs and let me know if there's anything peculiar?
I'm on stage 1 aggressive - 93 octane, it was 79 degrees out , humid but dry, no other engine mods are installed, traction control is fully off. The spark plugs are about 10k old. to my knowledge neither coils or injectors have been replaced. recalls were done a few years ago before I bought the car. It's a MY09 335i convertible with sport package, mileage is now at around 60k.

Logs are uploaded here:
http://www.datazap.me/u/bluebimmer

Please take a look and give me some feedback!
Any input much appreciated!!

My problem: Just got a new cobb V3 ap. Never had a tune or anything else ever installed on the car. Plugged my OBD2 in, connected to AP turned car to ON and nothing. Cobb/Screen won't turn on. No beep or screen change. Then brought the AP inside and hooked it up with the USB to the computer. Let it sit for a while thinking it needed to charge. Still no screen action. Downloaded AP Manager. It detects the unit and ID's the serial number just fine. Screen still won't turn on.

Anyone ever had a problem like this? I can't think of anything to remedy it. Thanks.
My Cobb V2 screen often doesn't go on at first, especially if its cold from sitting in the glove box in the winter. Sometimes multiple plug-ins does the trick. More often I unplug it, and shake it for a few seconds. That usually turns it on. Seriously, really! Give it a try.

Charge Pipe for COBB fmic

Does the COBB fmic outlet piping replace enough of the stock charge pipe to order the short ER charge pipe or do I need the long one? I have a 2009 n54.

If you switch fuels often, you're much better off staying with Cobb. 45 second map rewrites rule.

I'm on my ipad and can't search but read the past few pages... have there been any updates to the AP(v2) firmware or maps within the past 2 months? I haven't plugged anything in or done any updates.

Tiny firmware revisions I think. No map changes that I know of.

I wish it was that fast. Pro tune to OTS is like 10 min.

I think so, AP update and AP Manager update. No MAP update.

What should the stage 1 sport and aggressive map be overboosting to?

I loaded the sport map earlier and on the live data I saw it shoot to 21.6

Will do some logs later if someone would please take a look

Thanks

I strongly doubt, in fact I can almost guarantee you did not boost 21.x PSI for any sustained period of time on a Stg1 map. If it was right after you let off the throttle, that’s just a boost spike as it nothing to worry about. Or perhaps you’re looking at atmospheric boost, which already starts at a base of 14.7PSI. Post up a log, but I would be absolutely shocked if that much boost was actually being pushed mid-range.

If I am removing a JB3 from the car would it be a good idea to drive a day or two without the JB3 before I connect the CobbAP v3 or should I just hook it up right away?

Step 1: Throw JB3 in trash.
Step 2: Flash the AP to your DME.

Yes it was only on the live data but that stores the highest reading, but I do believe it was only for a split second.

Haven't been into the car yet but shall get some logs as soon as the weather dries up abit.

Thanks for your reply though
