Pan seared chicken thigh, potato purée and braised artichokes
Fresh blueberries for dessert

Artichoke recipe from Bruno Albouze on yt

Chicken pan seared in butter, EVOO, fresh thyme and garlic. Finished in the oven.

Idaho potato purée with butter, salt and milk. Braised fresh artichokes in butter, EVOO, fresh thyme, garlic, lemon juice and deglazed in chardonnay.

Flavor was 10 out of 10 on everything. First time for me cooking artichokes, surprised at the long cooking time needed for the stem.

Wagyu/local ground patty mix I ordered last week. The steaks are coming soon, but still frozen. The chile was disappointing in its heat, but tasted good. Not picture was the ice cream cone for dessert

Cereal? Because of the grinding of the meat, and said bugs "survive" on the inside, but with a steak since you sear the outside it's safe?

Didn't know this and I clean up my kitty's litter boxes every day (she has two). Already wash my hands after but now will make sure to wash extra thoroughly. Thanks Jane.

On the odd occasion I do have red meat it's well done for me, even with fillet steak..terrible of me

I have 2 center-cut ribeye thawing in the fridge.
I told wife I was going to do them tonight in the cast iron skillet. She says I have to take my skillet outside and use the grill for heat. Something about mess, not cleaning stove, I couldn't understand it all.
I have about 6 baby potatoes I picked over the weekend. Plan to quarter those, wave them to get them cooked, then drop them in the pan for the last couple minutes while the steaks are resting to pull in the butter/rosemary flavor. Rosemary is out there in the garden, waiting to be part of dinner!
