yea lol, we known each other for quite a few years, way before he owned his 335 or shop or anything. we help each other out all the time, its hard to find friends that will help you as much as you help them

I have a few (what I would call) "good friends" that would bend over backwards for you, but for the most part I dont get that close to peeps anymore! I have been burned so many times!
One thing I have noticed is that it is my backwoods or redneck (as you like to call it) friends that are true friends and these hoity toity assholes around where I live now are the jokers.
I never understood it, if you say you are gonna do something, DO IT!

exactly, the backwoods, redneck friends appreciate more, and actually take friendship seriously. i had one friend that i was really cool with, lived across the street from me when i was married, now he only calls when he wants something, so i dont answer his calls anymore.

I completely understand! Hence I dont do many favors for peeps anymore!

I dont mind helping people out if they appreciate it.

I think that is why I get along with you as well as we do for not even knowing each other beyond the forum, when I needed your help you went outa your way to talk wit em on the phone, that is whats friends do and you didnt know me from Adam! That tells me alot about an individual!
I am a really good judge of character, I can tell you in ten minutes if I am going to like someone or not.

i drove a cayenne turbo, i wasnt impressed at all, power didnt come on til very high in the rpm range, and it wasnt seat of the pants power. they are nice to look at tho, and i guess nice to drive if you dont expect porche performance out of it lol

i got a friend that restores the older ones with the targa top and all, he has one that he is building for road course racing, its pretty cool, has the roll cage in it, an adjustable proportioning valve mounted on the cage by the shifter and all.
