Does Cobb V3 adjust water pump timing on the N54 335i? I read a few older posts (2011) that said it doesn't.

Are there a different set of tunes for us in cali where 91 is the highest pump gas?

Long term mods for my car are exhaust and intake (done) and future FMIC thats probably it. I have to smog so I don't want to do anything that takes more then an hour to reverse.

With these mods what OTS tuning options can I safely run DD with 91 pump? If I can only use Driver than it doesn't seem worth it to me.

Lastly, I know Dinan and Cobb are different in many ways I'm not asking which one is a better tune.
With intake + FMIC you can run the Stage 1+ FMIC drive map. It provides a very good boost in power over stock.

I didn't know they changed it to 91 per @allen@PTF but based on my testing I had to add a bit more to compensate for 91. So maybe you do start with the recommended and see how your log looks. Remember 91 isn't the same as ACN (Arizona Cali Nevada) 91. We Californians like to do things differently.

Use below.
Just out of curiosity, why did you change the octane value for e85 from 105 to 96?

With the fuel trims being as high as they were on my logs from blending 5 gallons of E85 with 11 gallons of 91, I'm inclined to believe the 105 rating vs 96. Either that or I really need to upgrade my LPFP.

Thanks Allen. So, Cobb still doesn't increase water pump? Maybe I'm asking the wrong question.
Does Cobb do anything to help the car run cooler?

DCI suck balls big hot air balls into your motor and slow your car up. Buy a cheap 50 dollar drop in filter and your good. DCI are only good for noise makers. if you live anywhere warm they suck.

Hi gents. I was just wondering if anyone could help me locate a standard rom file for my n54 135i

The car was already flashed, and now after adding cobb I have lost the cruise control function, and I've also got an emissions error code (this may be unlinked)
Here is my original thread: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=973723

I have emailed cobb directly but had no reply. I may be being a bit impatient as it was only Thursday last week (I think) when I emailed them.
My cobb request is https://cobbtuning.zendesk.com/hc/requests/48434

Question VALET MODE

Hi guys.

Newbie question......

I'm being relocated (MA to SC) and my company is putting my 335i on a transport. Might be ~14 days in transit.

I feel I should use my COBB device to put it into VALET MODE.

Is that pretty simple?

And simple to put my custom tune back in once I get the car back?

thanks in advance, Kevin

Sorry, let me understand this... You're Cobb tuned...

But you don't know how to change maps?

Uninstall=unmarry but in order to install on your friends car you need to download the correct maps and firmware for i8a0s from the Cobb site onto your ap

New to this tuning.... I have Cobb AP and installed stage 2 sport LT to clear dp codes. Struggling with misfires now on hard pulls. What are the difference between a stage 1 Vs stage 2? Have DCI, catless DP, no FMIC yet.
