Some fabulous cloud shapes and colours Dave, a great sunset shot.

ps. just noticed - have you rotated the shot slightly and not cropped (or content aware filled) along the bottom right ?

Thanks Alan.

I think you're correct about the Auto Tombstoning not working on that one. I'm sure that I leveled that long, clear horizon, because that's something I do when there's such a clear horizon. It must have been very slight and I didn't notice the unfilled area. I'll fix before printing. ;-)

Yea they had a ball that day. One is 13 months old (left one) the other is 2 years old. Both of them still act like they're 3 months old lol.

We have a little cottage in the finger lakes near Watkins Glen. The waterfalls had some neat ice formations today.

I'm heading up to the NWR tomorrow for the last time this season. Most of the birds have moved on, but I do hope to catch another glimpse of this fellow (or lady? I have no idea).

The birds have left. Not much to see yesterday but a few hundred jack rabbits. The warm weather had them out in droves!

Why post a pic of an Audi on a BMW forum ?

So far as the image is concerned, I'm afraid I don't really find it does justice to the vehicle.
Stood on grass doesn't really show off the imposing low stance of the car to it's best.
The reflected red lights in the door panel need removing and the sodium colour of the background sky is unflattering.
Sorry

Haha, see I like it when folks remove an unpleasant color temp from the background. I do think this needs some more light on top and less spill around the car but some editing with a brush may be the help this photo needs.

I'm sure Alan was just trying to give his truthful personal opinion about the photo. It's hard sometimes to take the honesty but if it wasn't for people being honest with me about what they didn't like I wouldn't benefit from the critique. Not all opinions are equal but once pointed out its easy to tell when someone is pointing out something constructive.

I have no problems with Alan's comments. I always appreciate his comments and the others who frequent this section of the forum...But I'm a Sadist 👌
