Do I really look like someone who would actually TEST gasoline?
I always thought they advertised it to contain no ethanol. |

Yes u do. You correct "periods" on a forum.
I looked on the website couldn't find anything I see the 10% sticker so I figure all of them can have it. |

I would be ecstatic to find out that Shell V-Power has no ethanol, but I don't think that's the case. I know there was at least one guy on the forums who took his car in for the HPFP and used nothing but Shell V-Power. They whipped out their Bill Nye kit on his gas, and it came out to be like 15 or 18% or something like that.
Then again, I'm sure there are plenty of people who claim to stick to the top tier stuff when in fact they probably don't always do that. FWIW, I'm not so sold on the "Top Tier" crap anyway, as most gas stations in any area pull their gas from the same pools, and then just add their brand-specific detergents and whatnot. |

Interesting cuz the 3-4 Shell stations I visit on a regular basis here AND in Chicago all have stickers on the V-Power that say no ethanol.
I did go to 1 that was 91 octane and not 93 like I normally see. Maybe its just specific locations... ![]() |

I've gone to a wide range of stations from top tier to mom-and-pop gas stations and have been fine. Makes me think that just sometimes stations get a bad batch of gas.
I'm pretty sure all gas stations in those areas on the maps above need the 10% ethanol, unless there is some way for companies to get around that. |

I'll assume the price will be higher so I shouldn't wonder why if I do find a non ethanol
