What they need to do is send more players to Europe and South America and participate in higher level leagues and gain more valuable experience and tactics.

Today had shown Americans are unable to out-smart the physical game against Ghana. They will need a better tactic (great improvement shown in second half), and drain out the energy from the Ghana.

However, today Ghana drained all the USA's energy and they're all tired in Extra Time and unable to create the opportunity and moments like what they did in the game against Algeria.
Plus its catastrophic loss when they are unable to focus in early minutes in the game. For example, they lost one goal to England in the 3rd minute, 12th minute against Slovenia, and today 4th minute against Ghana. That hurts! Football (or soccer they call it), you just cannot afford to lose any goal.
