This is a very nice exhaust. Just installed one for friends over the weekend. Great sound, and quiet when cruising! You can feel a big difference than stock, much better throttle response. Can't wait to get mine!

I know that this is a catless downpipe back exhaust. So the 2ndary cats are deleted. Will this create a CEL or any form of emissions problems? If so, will the Burger O2 sensors take care of this or does AE have a recommendation? I am located in NJ if it matters.

If all is good, I will be placing my order for a 2009 E90 LCI 335i xDrive! asap
Already taken care of over IM.

catless downpipes would require o2 sims (or DPs with highflow cats that arent made correctly, not mentioning any names)

but- the exhaust bolts right on to your downpipes whether stock or anything else and goes right until the mufflers

basically

downpipes > exhaust

its a complete catback system
correct! Thanks!

Thank you! Glad he likes it, and looking forward to setting you up with one as well.

It should fit Cyba's diffuser, but if you can post the complete set of dimensions on here I'll be happy to double check over it all to see. Our quad exhaust is the same dimensional configuration as most of the common quads on the market. I believe only Bastuck has a more proprietary layout with a wider stance, and all the others are the same. We tried to make it compatible with as many diffusers as possible and so far it fits without a problem in the Duke Dynamics Diffuser, the 3D Design M-Tech diffuser, and the Vorsteiner Diffuser, so Cyba's should be fine.

Best Regards,

Nick

That's from this thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=192755 where my wife was complaining about the resonance at around 2200 RPM that also has vibrations in the cabin. What doesn't come through in the video is the felt vibrations.

Funny, you've replied in that thread too.

Anyway, I haven't had a chance to drive the car in a week (6+" of snow on the ground + summer tires = car stays at home!) I was hoping to get it up on a lift at a friend's just to verify all the connections are properly tight and there are no leaks (shouldn't be, but I am using used gaskets....)

The wait should be worth it from all he rave reviews I hear. You can't really blame the shipping companies for a small delay over christmas. I sure would not want to work there during this time of year.

I never experience any drone whatsoever on my personal car with our quad system.... UNLESS I put it in 6th gear at a very low speed, which I never do. Infact, I was able to make the stock exhaust drone by doing this as well... My girlfriend actually enjoys the sound of it.

I never saw this thread until today... but hopefully youre enjoying the system now if you've been able to drive it because of the snow.

I could make my stock exhaust drone if I shifted into a high gear at low speed.. I think it must be all in gear selection since my quads dont drone at all on the highway or anywhere. (EDIT for clarification: My duals didnt drone either) Theres over 50 systems out there now with this being the only documented complaint/video of it droning...

Replied! I need to see more measurements than just that, if possible an image showing all the measurements between the cutouts and of the cutouts as well. The more the better. I'm 99.999999% sure it will fit without a hitch though.
