As a huge Vikings fan I have a confession to make: i was actually rooting for the Packers to win last night so we have a shot at the #1 seed. There were some moments where I thought the Packers might take the lead and pull it off. The Eagles kept daggering though.

Kinda know how that goes....wanted the Vikes to beat Dallas. That didn't turn out too well either.
Can't even remember the last time Packers had a decent run defense....maybe 2010? Just embarrassing.....the D coordinator has got to go.

Very interesting year in NFL, teams that have been mediocre are now good again and vice versa.

Sometimes when you win, you really lose, and sometimes when you lose, you really win, and sometimes when you win or lose, you actually tie, and sometimes when you tie, you actually win or lose. Winning or losing is all one organic mechanism, from which one extracts what one needs.

Exclamation

Keep in mind... This is the same Colts team that Philly barely beat by 1 point.

Win the Super Bowl, then you’ll have my permission to clout. BTW, what happened to those two (2) Packer fans who inadvertently assumed I was a Cowboys fan who pumped their chest after they won that game? Why aren’t they standing on top of the mountain yelling DRAAAAAGOOOO since the Packers actually won another game?

So id really like the Cowboys to for once play a full game.

Yet again, it was a tale of 2 halves. While I like to see our coaching staff make adjustments at halftime and dominate the 2nd half, I'd really like them to just dominate the entire game. I think the only game we've really come out clicking on all cylinders is that Vikings game, and as you can see, when we play a complete game, its no contest.

How good are the Vikings? Are they the most disappointing 10-2 team in the league?

As a Vikes fan I am so confused right now on what to expect. Their defense is ranked 30th for yards allowed, 32nd for passing yards allowed, 29th for completion % allowed, but overall 17th for points allowed. The Vikes let teams pass and run through them and then they crack down on 3rd and 4th downs, and have had some success limiting scoring in the red zone.

The game yesterday was a perfect example of their defense. Allow the Jets to gain 500 yards with a few explosive plays, but the Jets only scored 1 touchdown on 6 redzone trips holding them to 5 field goals.

I think the Vikes will go 3-2 the final 5 games finishing 13-4 and will secure the #2 seed. Then get destroyed in the divisional round by the Cowboys.

Well, (generally) Packers fans don't gloat and brag about beating bad teams....even THIS year.

Another good weekend for NFC East teams.

I feel like this analysis from 538 is probably the most accurate statistical rating thats out there:
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...l-predictions/

Realistically its a four to six team race across both divisions. With the current injury situation, I would put ~even money on the Eagles, Cowboys, Bills, Chiefs and Bengals. Home field and the first round bye will be a big deal as the regular season winds down. The fact that the Eagles have head to head victories against Dallas and Minnesota already is huge from a seedings standpoint. If the Vikings some how wind up with the 1 seed in the NFC, they definitely join the list of teams above. I don't think the Ravens or Dolphins have enough to get through the other AFC teams

i see the vikings dropping at least 1 more game. and I dont think they scare anyone, whether they have home field or not. That beat down by the Cowboys looks less like a fluke and more like an indication of how that team is vs good teams.

We'll see how Eagles are looking going in to the Christmas Eve game. Theyve got to play the Giants and the rising Bears the next 2 weeks, and i could see them losing one of those. Christmas Eve vs the Cowboys could very well be for the division, and if Cowboys win out, they would hold the tie breaker over the Eagles if they both finish 14-3.
