I just posted this in the OT thread, but didnt know if any of you were computer geniuses...

My brother works for a moving crew, today found a used iMac that someone had left out that they didnt want anymore. (The crew is really supposed to take it to the surplus place but the head mover said he could have it). So he took the computer home and turned it on and it says he needs a user name and password to start it up. Can anyone help with a way to clear this, and log on to the computer?

there is some linux software you might be able to run that clears the user accounts, also...why not just try to reinstall the OS and start from scratch. Otherwise......can i have it? lol jk. Im savin for a new

no we pushed it back one week remember? This week gettin jammed already.

For some reason no one does fender rolling around here, and Ive been getting PMs and calls out the ass for it.

i know he can get free software through the university, so I guess ill tell him to just unistall everything. Its not a new one, its like 6 years old. The old white frame with the white base. Still nice to have for free though.
