Well, minivans are practical, if utterly soul destroying.
But on the bright side when the depression has driven you to various addictions and you lose your home and family, the minivan will be a convenient place for you to live for a few years.......

Nice video.
But this thread has nothing to do with misogyny. If you read the original post or know who the people who are involved are, you'll realize pretty quickly the title of thread/poll was an inside joke started with Lups asking for a poll on "housewife" cars (a term she has adopted for herself) More specifically, she suggested this thread when a thread she made in F80post over what colour of cars dentists drive was locked (made because her friend Wah, a dentist, drives a white car, which is boring as all fuck - sorry Wah. it just is....) She wanted an equivalent thread in her honour....so I obliged. If you think being a housewife (or maybe a dentist) is offensive I guess you can see misogyny here, but I don't think the rest of us do....

It all started with two people being bored, we made a thread of dentists car colors. It turned out to be too funny and might have shown that I was mildly wrong also with my assumption. It got shut down and then our resident smartass myzmak decided to use my innocent words against me and made this thread.
In the history of housewives, there have probably never been such a sad excuse for one as I am. I find it hilarious how a few guys here think its offensive since it implies all the good things. I have a home, I haven't killed my spouse (though he truly deserves it), and if not in the same sentence with a tv, I can see myself in a gym doing crunches while posting this. If he had used the more accurate jailwidow, I might get worried about him owning a crystal ball. All in all I would like to end this confusing speech with a quote from this morning: Get the fuck out of my kitchen or I'll run you over with your stupid car. I think I'm headed to the jail if he cooks ever again.

but it is a thought....... Anyway, the important thing is: bacon. Bacon should be cooked in an oven.

Bacon has to be fried in a grill or a pan to get all the grease out. Oven just doesn't bring the results one needs to make a perfect breakfast but I did suggest this I a mild and calm voice to the idiot I married after he tried for the second time in our married life to make food. The last time his excellent excuse was that there wasn't anything to eat in the house besides bacon, this morning his reason to wake up the whole house right after six was that I had brought the wrong brand of granola from the shop. There is something seriously wrong with him. Twice in a week his actions have been suicidal. I do admit failing my duties as the housewife and my actions caused this all in a way, but after 7-10 years of marriage he should not be surprised of me fucking up.

(if you do, you can still do it in an oven - just put the bacon on baking racks on top of the pan and let the grease drip below) but I find parchment paper does a good job of sopping up the excess grease while still leaving a bit of chew to the bacon. but, I dunno, you are probably one of those weirdo Europeans who insists that beef be cooked until it is the consistency of shoe leather and whatnot....

Yep, we needed a new truck to tow the boat so we bought the JGC, the MBZ was/is her's. We had 4 cars for 2 people and since the old Truck, said POS, has 181K on the clock and is not worthy of a gardner we kept that and I sold my E90. My underhanded plan is to purchase a P-car in the next couple of years once I destroy the truck and have earned the bonus points for driving said POS. You should understand this guilt based logic as wifey is Canuckistani and guilt is all those prairie girls have!
