True.. I recall hearing how easy it was to crash a HPFP at 500. Hopefully that fuel pump will help it stay above the edge.

Based on his power goals it wouldn't make any difference, so he is fine where he is at. Switching tuning tools will not give him any more power. If he wants to make more power with more "boost" then yes I would suggest for him to go the MHD route for sure.

We tuned a 335xi with no supplement fueling other than a Fuel-It Stage 2 LPFP on RB turbos. He hit 522 with his fueling system in check. As we began to push things further north 600+ whp then that is when his fueling started to crash

Why would anyone hold boost back on RR600 (they easily handle 24-25psi of boost) cause of an old inferior tune. Doesn't make any sense to me. Why spend the 3-4k with install.
Btw. I was told by Wedge and Steve from fuel-it that extra fuel is almost a must with upgraded twins. Hpfp can crash even with stock turbos. My power goals are a 550whp at 24psi running e50 and according to both of them at the minimum the TBI is required to achieve that. Best option would be the PI kit of course but $1.5-2k cost for another 30-40 whp
was just not worth it to me at least.

My goals are different from your goals. I don't need a 25psi to redline map for a daily map. Just because you're goals don't match up to mine doesn't mean you need to come shit talk on everyone. Yes your visions of YOUR vehicle is different but this is MY vehicle. I wanted a 21psi tapered to 18psi because I wanted a good moderately strong daily map. I dont want to push these turbos up to 25psi at 5600ft elevation and risk going through my 4th turbo set.

Reason why I haven't switched from Cobb to MHD? Because I don't want to go through the hassle of switching to an android device, selling the Cobb and now going through another 12-15 revisions on the MHD for the same map I would end up being on.

Go troll elsewhere and do your own thing with your own car

Everyone's needs and wants are different. Upgrading your turbos does not mean to boost up. Some people upgrade to be more efficient at the same boost level while gaining significantly more power.

20 PSI on stock turbos is not the same as 20 PSI on upgraded turbos.

I will post my dyno numbers with Wedge tune when it's done. Just might show more realistic numbers that can be achieved with a set of these.
Wasn't trying to trash anybody here. Just can't understand any logic behind it. Anyway,good luck with your 20psi dyno.
