Valve stem could be the culprit, but that's still pretty rare I feel with these setups..

+1 for Valve Cover /Stem. Mine smoked a little b4 replacing Valve Cover. Very well could b the culprit. Raritys become commonplace when you own an N54!! Lol!

Shell T6 5w40 synth

Yes sir, last summer triple digits in humid arkansas, never got past the 1/2way mark on the oil temp gauge.

It's funny seeing people's faces when I tell them I run oil made for a diesel engine

Haha yeah same here, one of my buddies actually saw the container in my garage and asked why do I have that and I pointed at the bimmer and his facial expression was confused to say the least lol..!

I use T6 on my E53 X5. I took a peek through the oil fill opening and the timming chain and other internals looked very clean compared to before. The diesel cleaning agents are doing a great job.

I went on a diet before tackling this project Hey, got my RbTurbos refurbished and now ready to install them. Should the lines be installed before bolting the turbos back onto the block? Any advice here?
