Here are a few pics we took today. The intake is in a raw aluminum finish that has been polished to remove imperfections before we powder coat them wrinkle black finish.
We will try and have a full DIY, and Sound clips/video up later tonight. (too many people on the road right now). As you can see it is a full bolt on installation. The power steering relocation bracket was cut on via laser jet for precise fitment and extra quality control. All the parts are made from 6061 aluminum!! As you can see it is practically a 1 piece design. We did this for better airflow, extra quality control, and a clean/seamless finish. The less bends you have the quicker the air can travel. Enjoy fellas! And I hope you guys like the price!!! ![]() Best Regards, Max- [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]()

Why do you say that? The turbos are of equal size. They will both draw in as much as they can handle. We have dyno's and street testing to prove results.
Fella's, There is no need to reinvent the wheel with crazy designs. The more air the better. Intercoolers cool down charge temps. Its about getting as much air to the engine as possible. Thanks for the comments! Best Regards, Max-

Why would anyone say that? It makes perfect sense. Simple, and to the point. It does exactly what its supposed to do. No crazy out of the way bends, large nice pipping, and far enough away that it wont be ontop of the motor. Plus, its more eye pleasing than the UR, come on people! Also, you want numbers, this intake puts the power down. Im in all the way, sign me up!

you know what , I take back my above post. The intake has great gains, super easy install, will blend in the engine bay and for the price you can't beat it. I mean come on some of us have paid $100 bucks or more for the DIY hot air intake.

I agree with the super easy install, definitely a plus! Also, price is the best out there, but im just interested to see a few more customer dynos and see if the design/placement is equal to other CAI that go down to the bumper

Well the filter is half way in the wheel well no? Maybe if you can fit a longer angled filter that ends just before that brace that everyone hates it would be more of a "CAI".

I am not denying the functionality of the intake but I wish somebody(except Gruppe M) would create an intake that maintaintedthe stock design somewhat. I hate the way a straight tube looks coming out of the engine bay.

Im sure Dinan, or the BMW performance intake coming out will keep it stock looking. However i think the Logic intake once its powdercoated black will look fine in the engine bay. |

If ya'll want a hot-air intake, the Burger Motorsports intake is cheaper, and most likely better performing. On top of that, you'll have the option to make it into a cold-air intake when stage 2 shroud becomes available.

Yes ofcourse all the dyno sheets are from this design. What we decided to change was the original intake had several welds, 6 to be exact. We wanted a cleaner product so the decision was made to have the intake pipe made one piece from 3 inch aluminum. Notice how the 2 1/4 inch tube transitions into a 3 inch diamater without any need to cut and weld!!
We also have a much better handle on quality control, and consistency. Sure it costs us much more but its all about making a quality product that can perform well and do what we wanted it to do. ![]() cn555ic: OK thats your decision. Thank you for your comments, But please don't make assumptions about the flow our intake. Like I had mentioned previously. The N54 has 2 turbos that is equal in size and are not sequential. They will both draw in as much as they need. One turbo is not going to gobble up all the air. That is not how it works. This is not design class or art school. I think our intake looks clean and simple As I have been saying in previous posts. It's all about smooth air flow, power gains, clean look, ease of installation, quality materials, ultra light weight, no cutting, super low price, and NO warranty issues. Let me be clear about this. It is the job of the intercooler to lower intake air temps. Not the Intake. What do you think those blazing hot turbos will do to the cooler air once it reaches them? Along with the fact that the air still must travel through the charge piping from the turbo that is very hot too btw. Finally reaching the intercooler, where it gets cooled down and runs straight into the throtle body. Best Regards, Max-
