Looking back on my order I wish I had gotten Sirius Radio option (especially with the first merger hurdle cleared - DOJ approval today). Anyone know if this can be added by the dealer?

There's always the iPod aux port which comes standard. Thats the way I went.

You've got a pretty sweet combo too. I was going to go for the sport package too. I actually test drove a 335i with the sport package and could definitely see my lead foot getting my into a lot of trouble.

I do like that BMW includes the AUX port. I have an iPod but don't use it enough while driving to make getting the USB adapter worth it. I have an after market navigation system in my current car (2002 325i sedan) with a hideaway Sirius unit controlled through the head unit. I like the convenience of not having to stow away a Sirius receiver so hopefully the dealer can hook me up.

I checked the Port Authority website and the Auto Marine Terminal has only two ship berth so any delay in a ship unloading its cargo would probably cause a backlog. Hopefully our cars will make landfall Tuesday.

Good stuff. Did not know they painted, installed accessories, and A/C, moonroof, etc. at this place. I guess thats why its called the VPC. But just did not know they did all that there.

No doubt. They also claim to work 24 hours and pop out 750 cars a day in the de-waxer and 100 cars/hr in the car wash. Not bad at all.

I shall! Hopefully it will be soon. I have someone who is supposed to look at the Cobra this week that seems very interested. If I get a decent offer then it's gone and I'll be at the BMW dealership in just a few days to put my order in for a brand new E92 Jet Black 335i.

my CA e-mailed me and said the car will be at the dealership by the weekend but he said he's going to schedule me to pick it up on monday. Im gonna try and push to pick it up on saturday instead.

btw my dealer is Rallye BMW in Westbury, NY

edit: they are giving me a hard time with me telling them i dont want a front plate and the dealer sticker on the rear.

I'm going to assume the worst and go with a no, however. That way, should it happen, I can be pleasantly surprised.

I'm on your side with the plate and sticker. Fortunately in PA, we don't need front plates and I am going to push for no sticker. I'll gladly tell people where I got it...no need for a stupid sticker.
