I agree the economy is shaky right now, oil just dropped below $90. Not sure what is going to happen in the next year for. If I get hurt by low oil so too will you. Waiting is just a smart idea. You're already saving me $$. |

I still think they're fantastic, even in winter, even around these parts where winter is such a frosty bitch. Case in point, we've had a stretch of -30 C temps and a fair bit of snow. When the mercury dips to -40, most suspension systems turn into Radio Flyers. The V3's performed remarkably well. And while we are not into the worst of the rut season (and potholes after that), the lowered ride hasn't bothered me.
The icy roads AWD and a set of winters allows for some fun. When the car is sliding around, the KW's help keep the car under control. One thing that I have found is that when the car is sliding around a corner accelerating actually reigns things in much better than lifting - counter-intuitive but that's AWD for yah.

Im taking ownership of a 06 330xi w/ sports package this weekend and Im so glad i came across this thread. After further research, I realized that our cars don't get the sport suspension from the factory and was contemplating on whether to just swap springs or go coilovers. After reading this thread, i think i made up my mind. =) Thanks to the OP and everyone else for making my decision easy.

Btw, is there a thread with pics of local members on the forum? I see a few 06+ 330 and 335 in my area (Richmondhill) that are done up really nicely. Im coming from the Lexus club, so im really a newbie to the BMW scene although i've always been a BMW enthusiast. =) |

My car had 15K km on it when I installed KWV3s. I wouldn't bother with the sway bars
