Since I was told the same thing as Italian Stallion I will go with our CA's being clueless and hope Makato is right. The stock number is a good idea. I'll see if I can get one tomorrow. Hang in there fellas. Relief is on the way in the form of a new BMW.

Phuwok, did yours supposedly dock on the 12th as well and the CA said the 16th? I don't get it.... they must mean it go to the VPC on the 16th but it only says "at port" meaning at VPC? If you can follow what I just typed let me know what you think lol

I just spoke with my CA and he told me that my car was unloaded on Sunday October 15th. I was on the Integrity which left 3 days after the Boheme. I don't think you guys have anything to worry about and I think your CA's misinformed you. If the integrity was unloaded on Sunday then I am assuming the Boheme was unloaded at least a day or two before then. Good luck with all of your cars! The wait is almost over! :rocks:

Thanks Nitz! Thats what makes sense to me too.... its just every little thing seems like the end of the world at this point!! (as you know I'm sure!) I really want her before Friday... since I took the day off from work!

You're welcome 335I talian stallion. I know how you feel, any delay even if just a day or two feels like weeks at this point! My CA told me I should be picking up my car by Monday or Tuesday of next week so if that is true then maybe there is a chance you will have yours for this Friday.

The work order was completed and it was released to the carrier yesterday. I took delivery 4 hours after it got to the dealership.

I'll try to take some real pics tomorrow.

Yeah mine was released the same day as yours and Taittinger I believe. I think the guy I spoke with either does not understand the system he's looking at or simply has no F'ing clue.

I explained that his information was contradictory to all I'd seen from the shipping website etc.. I think he meant the car was released to VPC yesterday. My only reason to believe him was his insistence that the "system report" was telling him the car was not discharged until the 16th and the ship was 4 days late. We even compared schedules from what I had on the WW site and his "report". Finally, to calm me down he said it appears the scheduled delivery date is either this Saturday or possibly next Monday. He then explained that a Saturday delivery meant I would not see the car until they (the dealer) had the car prepped and they are closed for prep work on Saturday. Perfect. I don't know, maybe he's right and I just have to wait a little more. As I said in another post, there are obviously more important things in life than worrying about the whereabouts of a brand new car. Sorry to cause all the angst for the rest of you. I'm glad to know there is a possibility I might see the car before next week. Good luck to all and happy driving.

I do not understand how one car from a ship can be delivered and three cars are reported as not yet unloaded as of a couple days ago. I can track a shipment from Amazon.com and know when it will get to my home but a dealer cannot track a $45K+ car with any certainty?

My car was never logged as being recieved by the vpc, but was logged as "work order complete" and "released to carrier". My CA told me that just because your car is not logged as being recieved by vpc does not mean it hasen't.

I purchased it from Westchester BMW in White Plains. I didn't get a chance to really enjoy the car yet because of the rain. I got to take it back on monday to have the alarm installed.

I'm down for a meet.

well, there's more than just your car they need to prep, so just be a lil more patient. you've waited this long, why not another day.
mine is already in the prep shop today, but won't pick it up until sat. morning.

Just got a call from mine. Pick up tomorrow around 4:30! Woo! OC just turned at VPC today. I guess it is one phase behind.

Good luck with your cars when you get them! Tait and 335I talian I notice you are both in NJ/northern NJ. Keep me posted on any meets as I am in Staten Island and would be down for it once I get my car.

The countdown went from weeks to days to hours!! Hopefully I will have mine first thing next week!
