Shiv,

For the wiring mods, I've currently got my V4 out as it was just in for oil change, software update and HPFP replacement.

Could you PLEASE post the wiring mods as soon as possible so I could get the wiring modified before I reinstall? Ordered your meth kit, but they're waiting on parts to complete the next batch.

Also, will the new batch of meth kit elbow's include a second injection point (or 3rd) for N2O (assuming it's a good injection point, I've never run N2O before)?

Thanks Shiv.

I wont be able to post a wiring update until next week. Sorry.. out of time. And, upon request, we can add another bung to the meth elbow. It's not going to be a standard change since only a small minority of meth users will run nitrous as well.

I wouldn't be too sure of that Shiv....It seems as though alot of people will be doing meth if you indeed have the system running at its safest levels that you trust! When you trust it, I for one feel very comfortable with the mod....When running nitrous, I see alot of people purge before using the nitrous...Do you have a purge hooked up to your nitrous kit??

Here is an interesting dichotomy. With the seemingly somewhat safe use of nitrous and the easier installation as opposed to upgraded turbos; will this be the next step approach to power adders on this platform. Most other platforms opt for larger turbos as the choice. But could nitrous be the accepted next step on the N54 due to the easier installation and the lower entry cost?

Just food for thought.

I would agree and would be my preference (I want to try and swap turbos on stands in my garage) yes, masochist.

But I wouldn't be suprised to see a general shift on this patform. This is largely due to the straight line speed desires which seem prominent here. Obviously a road course is not a place for nitrous. But few seem to interest for that.

J/K, I personally won't be doing neither meth, nor nitrous, I need the car to be mildly tuned for consistency on track.....

But you're right, we seem to be at the beginning of a new direction, which is made possible with thoughtful and safe implementation of the Procede. Having said that, this is also where things might get dicey if some tuners approach the safety issue differently. The potential for disaster is very real.

Wouldnt meth make your car more consistant by keeping IATs consistantly low? Without proper cooling, your car will pull harder at first then less later on the track...

You would probably blow through a tank within ten minutes on a course. If it is a 20 - 30 minute session, you are hosed.

True, without proper cooling tracking can be very frustrating and you will be going slower at the end of each session and power delivery inconsistent. And as Scalbert pointed out, 30 minute sessions would be too long for spraying meth.

Upgraded IC and additional OC helps in this regard.

Nope. You don't have to just yet. But by the next update (next week), you will want to.

It is there but it is not yet active. That comes next week.

You can always get a 2-2.5 gallon tank. Mount it in the center of the trunk and put the pump below it like Former_Boosted has his.
